Resurgence of Camping Cannibals
I swear I have the worst luck. So I was pretty much a killer main for most of my playtime. I found myself getting frustrated and angry with different things. Getting matched with high rank players at low rank was one. So I just figured I'd switch to survivor for awhile,instead of quitting, constantly complaining,and giving myself a headache.
I think the last time I played killer I was getting Haddonfield offerings for two days straight,to such and insane degree I made a post to ask people if they were seeing the same thing.Everything was going fine as survivor. Able to make it to purple ranks,and it's much more chill. I don't really mind going against many of the killers,don't feel as bad when I lose.
The only thing that stops my enjoyment is Cannibal. I've seen him so much the past few days it's unreal (another streak of bad luck like the Haddonfield offerings I guess). I don't know if people are levelling him for BBQ and Chili,or using him to get the extra points from it...I dunno. Most people don't consider him great.
The one thing I do know is that it's a 99% chance that he's going to be camping. You are pretty much losing at least one survivor no matter what,and if he hooks them in the basement or somewhere with one entrance,you might lose more in a futile attempt at a rescue. I just don't see how that's fun. I tried playing him without camping (just bought him a bit ago) and I wouldn't say he's completely useless.
I guess people just think that's the best strategy to use with him,or why bother playing as him at all? It would be nice if there was some sort of rework or something. I'm not saying the campers should be punished,just that the killer should be more fun so people can think of other ways to use him.

As a P3 bubba who beat a team on haddonfield today I can say we don't all camp.

I think I've literally seen two that didn't in all the matches I've ever played against him. I appreciate you though. I'm glad there's someone. I've only ever used him twice and I was able to get hits with the chainsaw without camping. One was around a tree even,lol.
I just would like to understand the mentality of people that do. Most people aren't going to admit they camp. Granted,some are low rank,but I've seen perks on them that are from other killers,so they obviously had to put some time in the game.
So my only guesses are they don't know that's a thing that people don't like,or consider unfair (and in most cases considered a bad strategy)...or they think that's the best way to win with him. In that case I think that says something about the killer as well as the player.

I play bubba not P3 but I do have all the perks on him. I don't specifically camp but I can only imagine that a lot of it has to do with the usual Swat teams.
Or maybe Bubba is just lost in thought about how delicious you'll be as chili.

The reason people camp can be for a number of reasons either they feel they have to if they want any kills, survivors are all at the hook, theres a gen or door near the hooked survivor and they just want to toxic. I'd just say not all camping (unless it's face camping) is just to be toxic. Sometimes you need to see from their pov why they might feel they need to do it.
At high ranks getting chainsaw hits are extremely difficult that's why he is considered a weak killer. You need certain add-ons and perks to actually make his chainsaw good outside of camping.

Don't play on mobile. He was finally released so everyone is playing as him, ugh. It was fun playing DBD without Franklin's and BBQ for a while lol

You know, sometimes I want to camp as Bubba just to chill. Ya know, sitting, drinking beer and fishing. Ya know, just to enjoy the process.

Well I appreciate that input as well. I don't really ever get the feeling they are trying to be toxic. I mean with one I ran him on a chase for the longest time,stunned him 4 times,and when he finally got me,he threw me in the basement. Then he sat there and whacked me over and over and let everyone else escape.
I mean maybe they could make the chainsaw work in a different way,and that would alleviate some of the issue. Whether it's a speed increase,or whatever the good add ons do. I thought it was kinda fun you could knock peoples stuff out of their hands,and BBQ is a perk most people would consider must have. I just was coming from the perspective of "well they must think they have to camp to win with him,so he either sucks or isn't fun."

If im particularly frustrated Ill run basement bubba. Its a little carthetic not gonna lie. Tge recent changes did little to nothing to fix the core issues with the game. Maybe a lot of killers are feeling frustrated 🤷♂️

My phone is one of the millions that aren't compatible with the mobile version,despite being two months old at launch lol. I almost forgot about that debacle. Almost every tweet saying the game won't work. I've seen him a lot the past few days on PS4 (my PC is still down). Maybe that has something to do with it. Players practicing on both platforms.

Did you know that Bubba facecamper ACTUALLY makes faster hook progression since most of survs got demotivated/annoyed and give up/dc? Nowadays I get 4k often facecamping easily and it is even faster with Misterious Shrine and basement build

Ikr but definitely less than 50% do that, mostly the Russian players do, and still get 4k often

I'd say there's better ways to chill but to each there own 😂
I think people play him with the intention of camping some of the time. If the game goes well then no need but if it goes bad then they can camp easily.

Its gotten to the point where it happens so often that when I see its a Bubba I expect insidious camping, and usually I get it.
Its sad so many Bubba players have chosen this play style.
