That would be cool... Normally Id be doubtful, but with the anniversary... we could get the announcement of something big like crossplay.

Since there was apparently code leaked for crossplay I would say chances are very high. But we will see, I am not setting my hopes too high

During the last stream Matthieu Cote said that they missed one question. So i decided to check it out. I went to Q&A section on forums, sorted by top. All those questions were answered in stream except for one. And yes it was about crossplay. So i'm pretty sure it will be revealed during the stream.

i was wondering why they missed that question out of the blue. there were like 100 pages of that question and they blatantly avoided it, so this made me feel like they didn't answer it 'cause they were gonna announce it in the stream.

honestly: I dont think so. It will be crossplay but not crossprogression.
Why? MS/Sony/Nintendo take a big cut from all the ingame (& base game) purchases. Steam does as well, but not as big as the other platforms.
DbD on Steam: 19,99€ , DbD on Xbox: 29,99€, DbD on Ps4: 34,99€, DbD on Switch: 39,99€
Similar for auric cells, people would buy it on steam and play on console. I just dont think that they (Ms/Sony/Nintendo) want to make less money for doing nothing else than collecting the money for BHVR.

No...lemme explain, I'm a switch player, I already went against pc players becahse of hacks (possibly) and it was a pain, I had to camp to at least get 1k
Sorry if we can see a bit of last names guy but you still get the point...another proof I was on switch, again sorry to see Jonathan's name and my old name...I just wanted to censure the crossplayers

if that happens, u can still disable it, a lot of people complain about crossplay because they think it's something forced when u can simply disable it from settings, like other games allow. btw this is another proof that crossplay happens already, they just need a switch to enable it in-game.

I don't understand why anyone would think crossplay is a bad idea. If you don't like it, you would still be able to disable the crossplay option in the settings.

That'll likely be only for Nurse and Huntress.
Apparently there also isn't THAT big a difference, since this isn't a twitchy precision FPS like Siege or CoD and there'd most likely be an option to disable it on your end so you'll only get paired with same system players.
