Does anyone know why killer lobbys take for ever to find a match? I haven't played in a while:(
Like I said above I haven't been playing a whole lot lately Cause I been taking a break from it:) But now I want to Play it again :) But killer lobbys take soo long to find a match I'm thinking it's my rank Cause I was at rank 13 now I'm at rank 20:(
Is it my rank cause I'm at rank 20 at the moment :(
Or did survivors leave?

Thinking it might be due to either your rank or your region. I know on my end I tend to get lobbys within 1 minute.

Recently, waiting for a lobby as killer take forever while survivor matches are instant, guess the killer pop is growing

Happened to me after a long break as well. It's just that when you're in r20-16, the mm does everything it can to match you within that same range. It takes it a while to start reaching out into the wider ranks. As soon as you cross into 15 again, it'll speed up.

Theres no ingame way of changing your region. The game attempts to place you with people who live on the same side of the world as you for the sake of ping. I also live on the eastcoast though to answer your question, although I play at rank 1.

Low rank killers have long waiting times, while low ranking survivors have instant queues. On high ranks its the other way around: Instant queue for killer, long waiting times for survivors.
Go figure why.

Rank 3 killer. Takes me upwards of 5-10 minutes for a match

I find in general survivors have longer queue times then killer (ps4)
I've tested this from rank 20 to rank 8 (highest i normally care to get)

I would guess there aren't enough low rank survivors/too many low rank killers in your region.

I can confirm, I'm east coast US, and Killer usually takes me 5-15 mins to find a queue, survivor is usually within a minute.
We get a lot of super toxic 4 mans, at least I do on PC, might be driving people to play killer less.

For me its based on the hour. If I try to play as killer during the day it will take a long time (5-20 min), but if I try at night ( like 10pm - 2am) it will be instant. In Brazil. Also ranking 19

Rank 20 matches take awhile. Once you hit 15 or so lobby waits should decrease dramatically.

It's definitely time of day. Sometimes queueing as survivor takes ages, sometimes it's killer. I usually switch what I'm doing if I've been queueing for more than 2 minutes, and I find the other role is usually instant.

On PS4 I am currently working hard to derank. Red rank waits are minimum 3 minutes and can take up to 12 minutes, average about 5 minutes for Survivor. Killer on the other hand is 30 seconds usually at any rank.
