Soul Guard
Another OP perk for survivors. Again showing the bias survivors have from the devs. Further reason not to play this game anymore. I was already worried when a friend of mine sent me the fact SH2 is coming to DBD. And now its just showing how little they have learned from the game. It counters hex, its anti slugging. And it will stack with DS. So now, survivors are invincible. Pretty Good Job So Far BHVR.

Speaking as a killer main who completely agrees that this game is Survivor-sided, I have to say I don't find Soul Guard to be OP. For one thing, we're pretty used to waiting 16 seconds for BT- this is nothing by comparison. I see survivors pulling this off maybe once per match against a competent killer- once it's revealed that you have it you'll never get to use it again. Most of all, I think you're missing the big picture- the unbreakable/no mither effect is only applicable whilst cursed. Even when survivors KNOW my hex totems are most likely Haunted Ground, they still can't help themselves from cleansing it. The alternative implies that these greedy BP grubbing swfs will instead choose to leave my hex up, and I'm happy to trade an insignificant slug stall for, let's say, my 4 stack Devour. Killers shouldn't be relying on slugging anyways.
EDIT: Also, given what we're being given here with pre-nerf Pyramid Head, (Let's be real, the nerf is inevitable) and a few other notable changes over the past year or so, I'd have to say that I think BHVR is at least trying to give a little to each side here and there. I think people are giving them too little credit. Have hope, dude. And maybe a little Valium.

They released a killer that can literally ignore BT and DS, two of the perks that killer mains cry about all the time (ur especially known to be one of them). You got what you wanted, you get to camp and tunnel without having to deal with anything, yet u still find something to cry about survivors lmao.
The perk by itself isn't even strong, best used with FTP + Dead Hard in a swf and even then it's situational/not as op as u make it out to be.
Playing Killer keeps getting easier.

I'm not sure what to think about the hex effect, but the endurance effect isn't THAT strong. It's gonna help you escape easier maybe at the very end of the game. I like the perk a lot though, it's a really cool effect. Honestly a lot of the new perks are quite unique, but a lot of them also suck lmao. This is the only good one.

You're talking like if you didn't get a killer with good perks too who doesn't even need to slug, or avoid ds and borrowed time, and like if now everyone was going to be using that perk because there weren't better ones

Yeah! Because making toolboxes pretty much useless and taking away loops and changing the maps while slowing down gen progress speed really shows how biased the devs are to survivors. You killer mains crack me up sometimes.

Dude, Pyramid Head can hit survivors through walls and hook them without ever picking them up. That counters loops and DS.

The second part of the perk seems to me like a situational counter against slugging with noed or haunted but nothing else. Maybe bandaid for all survivors crying about slugging or noed.

As someone who plays both sides i disagree, soul guard will never be as good as unbreakable and the devs are infact learning from their mistakes.
Play survivor for a while and you'll understand.
