PTB beta access code
I have been all around in this forum and other forums for the PTB in Dead by Daylight. On here it says you don't need a code an it should already be there. (Which it isn't.) Other forums give me a code to use. (NONE of them work.) I also Checked around if there was a separate download and i didn't find one. Can any one help?

That instruction does not help one bit. I've done what it said to do but keeps asking me for a beta code which I don't have. Also the beta is not closed I see people right now playing the new killer and survivor.

Dude, you just bumped a thread from 2019. You can only access the PTB if you're playing on PC(Steam). If you're on Steam, go to your library, right click Dead by Daylight, go to Properties and click on Beta. There's a option to put the code AND a option to change the game version to the PTB, click on the arrow of the option and change to the public-test.

I just said I tried that and it didn't work. I posted on here to see if someone can help me. I know the thread is a year old I can see and read the date for it. I want to play the beta for the silent hill but I never use the PTB before and wanted to post here for some help. I've tried the link but it doesn't work..

I've tried to do what it says for that link but it doesn't work. It tries to download dead by daylight on steam but it doesn't download.

You've gone into the Beta tab, selected public-test from the dropdown menu, and restarted Steam?

I have and now it's started to download but it wouldn't download at all when I was trying to do this like hours ago.

When were you trying? Steam is down for maintenance for a brief window every Tuesday afternoon around 3:00 or 4:00 Pacific time.

I was just on it yesterday and after a Steam update the option for the PTB disappeared. I totally understand the frustration.

I am on steam attempting to access the beta test, but it's not an option. Image sharing has been disabled here so I'm gonna take a short video and upload it to youtube then link it here.
