Can anyone explain the new perk REPRESSED ALLIANCE and how is it useful to survivors?
Like when you repair a generator your perk gets activated. When you repair another generator within this time you can ask the entity to block that generator.
What I don't understand is how is that useful to survivors

True, but maybe it takes 30ish seconds or so for the killer to reach it, then you use it. That's just a best case scenario, though. Doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen, but it's cool.
Could even try pairing it with Red Herring for a little trolling.

The best use I can think of is when the Killer has Hex: Ruin up and you have to leave the gen you're on for whatever reason. It'll keep it from regressing while you're away. This doesn't matter once the totem is cleansed though.
People say it's to counter Pop, but it only lasts half as long as Pop so the Killer can still kick it later.

Simple. KILLERS can't interact with the generator if it's blocked off. That's one of the biggest concerns with perks like Thrilling Tremors.
Regression is also paused when the Entity is blocking off a generator, making this a perk to work around Hex: Ruin WITHOUT having to go and cleanse the totem.

The only thing that makes sense to me is to stop a pop goes the weasel / ruin regression.
Say Freddy hooks a survivor and sees you working on a gen. He teleports to PGTW and you just block the gen. He can either wait out the 30 seconds to use his perk or decide to go for for you. As well when a gen is blocked it does not regress, so if you have a god tier billy with ruin and he’s coming to you block the gen and run, and you’ll save 30 seconds before it’s regressing.
Lastly I’m sure someone’s gonna troll other survivors by blocking gens.

When your teammates are solo players and about to 3 gen themselfs. You just block the gen :)

Can Freddy teleport to a locked off generator? Because if he can't teleport to a generator locked off by something like Corrupt Intervention or Thrilling Tremors, then this might be a practical use for it.
