About legendary skins
What will you actually need to unlock them? Will it be like rift, escape 100 times as dwight for his legendary? Is it going to be for auric cells only or can we use shards too? Is it for licensed only? I ask because I'm a broke sob and want to know if grinding would work

Honestly legendary skins sound like they'll primarily be for licensed characters. An easy way to make an extra buck off liscence deals without having to make a full set of perks to go with it. Probably costs then less for a skin liscence than a full character as well if I could hazard a guess.

Most likely Auric Cells only as it seems like this is planned for licensed content. So that already rules out buying them with Shards. If a Legendary cosmetic comes with a different voice i'd say it will certainly cost more than the regular outfits. Although i'm hoping the price will be the same seeing as you won't be able to mix any of these cosmetics like you can with everything else.

No information has been given about them except that they will be a thing. The pricing and everything else is pure speculation, so don't put too much store by it.

Wouldn't it be more fun and fell better if we got specific character challenges to unlock legendary skins for that character?
For survivors it would obviously be standard challenges (unhooks, sabo, totems, gens and escape), but for killers you could encourage people to play each killer and try out different ways to use some powers.

The Red Shirt one was my favorite, the Leather Jacket was....eh, not my thing.
We'll see about Lisa Garland though, I REEEEAAAAALLLY want her because she's like.....amazing.

There is no way that something called "legendary skins" is going to be available for just playing the game.
It's gonna cost money and the price will most likely be 2 or 3 times the standard.

What about some type of skin for Survivors who reach "legendary" rank? It would be nice for there to be some type of reward for getting to rank 1 other than a stupid achievement badge.

I didn't say I thought it would be, but the fact is we don't know. It's misleading and confusing for people to be commenting things like "it's going to cost $25" as if that's a fact that's been announced. By all means, say "I expect it will cost a lot" or "it probably won't be available for shards" but don't say it like it's a certainty - that's how we get people yelling at the devs for things they never said.

There is no way it's gonna cost $25. I think most would agree $10 is about the maximum you'd pay for a skin. Even if it's $15... I dunno. I really wanna support and buy Lisa, but thats ridiculous to me.

$25 though?? I can't think of a game besides TF2 or CSGO (Not even sure about that) that has cosmetics worth more than maybe $15. Either way I have faith in BHVR. DBD doesn't have the most consumer friendly practices, but better than a lot. And I think definitely better than $25.
