What is the best load out to run with deathslinger (perks) in your opinion?

    I haven't experimented too much, but I use Ruin + surveillance + nurse's + thrilling tremors.

    BBQ&Chili

    Monitor&Abuse

    Nurses Calling

    Pop goes the Weasel

Overall a really powerful build for Deathslinger

    I've been running:

    Monitor and Abuse

    Thrilling Tremors

    A Nurses's Calling

    Corrupt Intervention

When I was first playing him, I did run pop, but found that I only used it once or twice through out the session so I dropped it. Pop is still good, but his lower terror radius allows him to sneak up on survivors and I'd rather go for the chase than stop and hit the gen. I also got the feeling this guy might be a bit too slow to play gen defender and I had more luck playing aggressively.

He's so fun to play as, but obnoxious to play against that I genuinely feel guilty about running gen slowdown perks on him. Corrupt won't make it any harder for them to complete generators, but it will help mitigate the "Free" gens they get at the start of the match.

Nurse's takes advantage of this lower terror radius, but I do use it as experimental perk slot.

Thrilling can be swapped out for BBQ or some other tracking perk. I still haven't rolled BBQ but you know what.. Thrilling is really good. I always thought it was a worse BBQ, but man was I wrong. I'd say its equal where it matters. Game state Information. Transporting a body is the safest time for survivors, and thrilling will either lock the gen or reveal them to you.

I think he play well add-on less too, but if you did want to run some, you'd probably run cooldown + reload, or double reload/cooldown. The railroad spike is pretty good too. You kind of have to heal against a Deathslinger and the mangled effect will have some value.

Coin is a meme, but honestly, do we really need more insta-downs iridescent add-ons?

    BBQ, Monitor&Abuse, Nurse's Calling, Sloppy Butcher/STBFL

His TR is 24m so M&A makes it 16m combined with it being a unique music makes him a surprising stealth killer not to mention how well it synergies with other perks.

Nurses Calling gives you an aura from 28m away, his harpoons range is 18m and his TR w/M&A is 16m. This means it's possible to snipe people who are healing before they hear your TR.

Sloppy Butcher works well with Nurse's Calling.

BBQ is just a great perk

Save the Best for Last at 6-8 stacks gives you a m1->shoot death combo. Its impossible to run away from unless you can los. Only down side is needing to hit your shots and building up to 6+ tokens

    STBFL, BBQ, Pop and Monitor.

I like his belt and key addons for SPEEB

There is no clear answer since your loadout hugely depends on your playstyle. Even some perks that are generally considered as good fit don't have to be as usefull if you don't play in a way that fully capitalises on their strengths.

I main deathslinger and many different builds are very good if you play into them properly. But if I should give my favourite build that I'm having most success with then it would be Surge, Pop goes the weasel, Surveillance and whispers. This builds focues on gen control and requires you to know when to drop chases and how to properly track using whispers etc. If such playstyle interests you then this can be very good builds to use.

Appreciate all the feedback. I've been running M&A, BBQ, POP, and recently STBFL after watching tru3 showing the 2 hit combo, but gotta have 8 stacks for it to work. Haven't tried nurses. Was running noed also, but swapped for STBFL. I just suck at landing the shots though, and I play shooters too. Pretty decent at COD, but that damn harpoon shot is a pain on ps4. I swear I'm aiming dead on, but I still miss so 🤷‍♂️

Swap STBFL for Surge if you have it.

Deathslinger is one of the few Killers able to make decent use of Surge as he is the only Killer able to force a Survivor closer to gens before downing them. M&A gets you an early hit saving time in a chase, Surge saves you more time not kicking the gen that guy was working on by pulling him back to it added with a nice 8% regression, and Pop allows you to regress another gen of your choice who BBQ points you towards.

Though, BBQ might not be needed. Being a 110% Killer, Deathslinger isn't gonna be able to get good use out of BBQs aura reading. Double BP is always nice, but blood points wont help you win games. Deathslinger is a more defensive Killer. Discordance is decent at knowing where to defend. Agitation helps as well to speed up hooking or to make certain you can double up on defending gens and hooks. And Surveillance isn't half bad either as you can know where you DON"T need to defend if the gen is still regressing allowing you to defend elsewhere.

This is what I do, good build on any killer really.

I think his reload add-ons are his best, but I really like the prison chain / reeling speed. The chain lets you pull off some pretty disgusting loop-stopping shots. There's tons of pallets you don't have to kick as deathslinger and the chain turns them even more unsafe.

This build is designed around the mid game where there are 1-3 gen(s) left. I've had the most luck and fun with this build.

    Perks:

BBQ Chili- For Extra Bp mainly but can be swapped with a perk for finding survivors or helping block gens such as TT or Whispers.

Surge- My favorite perk I use with him, he's able to reel survivors closer to gens and make them explode without having you kick it! Can be swapped out with Ruin if you want

Pop- Litterally one of the best perks in the game and Deathslinger relies on game slow down perks due to his very slow mobility.

Surveillance- Has become one of my favorite perks in the game. It synergies EXTREMELY well with Pop,Surge and Ruin. They also made an update where gens still glow white after a gen has fully regressed! This perk turns him into a 3-4 gen monster, where is see Deathslinger at his best!

    Addons-

Warden's Keys- Reload faster. Literally his best addon, it helps in every situation after you shoot whether you missed your shot or after you speared a survivor. It's almost needed in some games I have against really good survivors

Either an addon for better reeling speed, reload speed, or missed shot cool down. If your new to gunslinger, missed shots are very frequent so useibg the Tin Oil Can is your best bet. If your someone who hits alot shots from far away but has trouble reeling them close enough then the Bayshore Gold tooth is great. Otherwise, use the Modified ammo belt for an even faster reload!

    Hope this helps :D

My build is Spies, Nurses, Discordance T1, and Thana. I like to call it my 'You Can't Hide' build. Spies comes in super handy when they try to duck around LoS blockers and lets you know where they're running toward, Nurses for when they've been hit/speared, Discordance for a cheeky possible snipe and Thana for Survivors who MUST heal and pretty much reveals their location to me. It's been a pretty successful build for me, though if survivors decide not to heal, I'm left with only Spies and Discordance for some info. But, I seem to always get survivors who insist on Self-Caring in 'hidden' spots, only to receive a nice spear for their efforts.

Imo Monitor/Nurse and STBF are a must on him.

It took me ages to get monitor on him thanks to crap RNG, but it's been rest good.

I've. Using surge on the last slot to cut down time on kicking gens.

Been getting really good results with this build, even managed to go toe to toe with a SWF deathsquad on giant maps like corn and temple.

For add-ons I found the the cigarette and the green one that apply mangled on survivors that escape the chain quite good, specially when they start dropping pallets preemptively.

The prison chain and reeling speed addons are pretty much useless.

Reload speed and missed shots cooldown are his best addons

Here's a video from int3r4ct that, amongst other things, explains why those addons are so bad:
