Forgetting how to play nurse
I've been making console nurse for a bit now, consistently in the lower red ranks (not anywhere near god tier) and it seems that sometimes after a day or two of not playing that I've forgotten all strategy. Usually it takes a game or two of losing badly to remember that I'm being ######### and how to actually play her; this happen to anyone else?

Hello there fellow console Nurse👋. Yea I need to play Nurse frequently if I want to make sure that my blinks stay on point. Same as you if i dont play her for a few days then my blinks will be a bit off but it usually just takes me a couple matches to get back into it.

A lot of playing Nurse is the muscle memory on how long charging blinks will take you. The first game or two after a break is always rough, but once you get back in your groove you'll be back in no time!

I was practicing console Nurse for a long time, getting better... then I had to go out of town for a couple weeks. Returned home and it was like I had never played as her before.
I never did fully get back into the groove as her, and then she got nerfed with the Blink recharge and I shelved her completely.

Yeah it's rough warming up after a few days or longer.

I was playing her alot and I had precise blinks, good predictions and could read survivors personalities well. After a few days off I've only had bad games, it's like survivors hate windows and doors, all my blinks are off and I can't figure out pathing for my life. Only depips. Even shadowborn hasn't helped my precision, I just had a game where I was staring a survivor in their face and somehow smacked the fence behind them, while they stayed on screen the whole time. Ngl I think I'm done with dbd.
Edit: spelling

Woah this is stunningly similar to my experience. Normally more than capable of 4king but recently the game is just completely unfun, bugged, or straight up bullshit. Very hard to play DbD more than one day a week or month at this point.

i've given up on her until she is buffed, I actually relearn things pretty fast so im not too worried about losing my skill with her. the devs simply need to give her a buff that will not affect god nurses but will make her more playable to less skilled players because as she is now she is too punishing to play for missing or miss-predicting survivors. best thing they could do imo is simply make her lunge out of blink normal like it was for a short time after they made pallets stun her in a blink.

This has been happening to be since Friday night. I think it 100% has to do with server load. Watch the end of your blinks closely and you'll probably notice a slight snap back or rubberband. The problem is the lunge is locking on and not taking the rubberband into account. At least it appears that way to me. So I'm swinging short despite all of my muscle memory and my eyes saying otherwise.
