Adding backpacks to dead by daylight
I think it would be a very good addition to the game because you can add exciting cosmetics to the backpacks and would open a bigger option of customizing your dbd character. How it works:for survivors you have a 1-2 second animation pulling your chosen tool out of your backpack and a 1-2 second animation in putting it back in this can also work for stashing newly found items. It will debuff flashlights a bit also and you have a new way to time your flashlight blinds. You can have one stashed item in your backpack and one in your hand but have to switch them if you want the other item. For killers you can pull out your killer add ons and put them on the weapon of the killer the animation for that is also 1-2 seconds and will be permanently unlocked on the killers weapon thoughts?

You are saying survivors can bring toolboxes, medkits and flashlight at the same time? No way.

No only one item can fit in the backpack you'll bring it with you just like before.

Okay, you can still take toolbox and flashlight at the same time. Nice hook sabotages. Also killers with backpack would look ridiculous.

That's a good point you can make scary backpacks for the killers that don't have to be pretty and coulourfull and for toolbox and flashlights maybe you can only hold one item in your backpack and Noone in your hand so you'll always have to pull out that item that you brought with you.

I guess it could work on survivors (though balance-wise it's a bit iffy) but for killers it would just look silly.
Can you imagine Myers with a backpack? *reaches tier III* "Hold on one sec, there's a tombstone piece in my pack that would be perfect for this. You just wait right there, won't be a moment."

Maybe the add ons could be shown as tokens with the symbol of the perk on it

The survivor change sounds fun, but I'm not really sure what you mean by the killer one.
Idk how balanced it would be but I'm sure they'd figure something out.
Maybe a backpack could be added as an item?

And for the backpacks of the killers you could be something else that could carry these tokens any examples?

I think the developers could remove the backpacks that are already on skins and give it separate from the outfit that you've bought

It could be cool but a bad thing is that swf will abuse as always bringing 2 toolboxes maybe with 2 brand new part or a toolbox, flashlight or istant heals
