The Legendary skins for Meg Thomas and Claudette Morel should be the old alpha versions.
This would be a great and neat way to bring back the old versions of both Meg and Claudette back into the game and what better way than to have them as legendary skins?

Yes please. It'd be nice to have those character models return alongside the male survivor that got caught in a bear trap in the very same trailer (which from the sounds I assume was Jake)

I mean it would be nice and stuff and i personally wouldnt care but the prob is , is that i feel like a lot of backclash would happen because of it because in this trailer the black women running is suppose to be meg and the white girl on the basement hook is suppose to be claud , so having skins to change the ethnie of characters would be seen by some has innapropriate because of "blackface" or "whitewashed" stuff like that

Of course, let's cater to the snowflakes. An easy work around to that problem would be simply giving them new identities.

I don't hate the idea, but that doesn't seem to be what legendary skins are about. They basically seem to a vehicle for allowing more licensed characters into the game without going the Nancy/Steve route of providing extra perks and content. There's no indication regular characters will get them to turn them into other regular characters.
And, honestly, if they ever did re-introduce those character models, why would you not want them to just be added as regular survivors? Doesn't make sense to me.

Good points, but I don't think it can only be used with bringing in licensed reskins. I get with silent hill with one character getting a legendary skin which is a reskin of another character from the same franchise, but doing licensed reskins with dbd characters like Claudette and Jake doesn't really make all that much sense to me.

I don't like snowflakes either but even I can see why some people would have legitimate issue with this , the issue would be beyound snowflakes only being offended

I'm sure Behaviour can think of better outfits than grab ones that were thrown out of Live for a reason.

Legacy cosmetics ARE their own characters though.. or is Lisa Garland just Cheryl in a costume?
problem would be in this case, that the Alpha chars probably don’t have their own names, and were indeed just Claudette and Meg.. maybe that can be explained with the multiverse lore.. or give them other names, or maybe there were different names in that Alpha stage..

I just watched that trailer and I would be really glad to see those survivors in game! Give them new identities and make them legacy. If you want to avoid any racist accusations, make Alpha Meg a Claudette legacy cosmetic and name her „Margaret Thomason“.

This talk of Legacy skins gives me an idea... What if they use these to bring in characters from past lore? Maybe Jane's skin could be her mom, who went looking for her after her disappearance or something. Just a thought...

The thought of a white claudette and a black meg is just weird
Imagine someone saying "oh man this new claudette skind sucks at immersion"
"Why is that?"
"It makes her white"
The other guy just stares in confusion for a whole minute

Legacy cosmetics are not just skins but actually different characters though. They would probably have their own names and all (see Lisa Garland)

I would rather the Legendary skins for original survivors be something that ties directly to their lore.
Meg’s mom for the example. A single mom who has to raise Meg on her own. She falls ill and now Meg has to take care of her.
I’m a Meg main and after seeing how many bad costumes she has had lately, that’s the only reason I’d be oppose to OPs idea.
