Killing Floor anyone?
The talk from the two Left 4 Dead threads got me thinking about other PC titles that would be cool to crossover in here. Killing Floor was the first off the top of my head. I think Some of the zeds would make awesome killers and there are plenty of survivors to choose from in that game. Thoughts?

I like the idea. Would the killer be the Fleshpound? I think that is the most recognized enemy from Killing Floor.

Killing Floor 1 is in my Top 5 games of all time. I've had KF1 since early 2010(it come out in 09 I think) and dont know how many hours I got in that one but its gotta be in the thousands, if not tens of thousands. KF1 was so, so much better than both L4D1&2 and/or any Zombie mode in COD games, mainly because there were no silly gimmicks. You had your class, you had your weapons, you had your enemies, and you had your bosses and thats it.....it might seem simple, but there is no other feeling on this planet like standing your ground on top of a stairwell, or in a narrow corridor with your teammates and hearing "Fleshpound Incoming! may need help.....help.....HELP!!!"
KF2 was great as well, but it was much heavier on the GPU and there was a huge benefit gained from simply grinding up the levels. In KF2 there were very few levels for classes and each higher one required practically an exponential effort/kills over the previous one.

Nice to meet a fellow KF vet. I clocked in probably just as many hours and had the game I think a little shorter of a time than you did. I was often told I was one of the best medics most people knew. I could land needles between zeds and obstacles with both myself and the target moving. Used to have squads of friends arguing who'd get me for the evening and even got invited to a lot of mod maps while they were under construction. My best damn memories on PC were in those servers.

Better than L4D? That’s entirely your opinion, friend. The size and legacy of the L4D community will have to disagree with you.
That being said, I never got into KF much so I don’t have a strong opinion on it.

The map should probably be related to Horzine, maybe Biotics Lab, Biolapse, or Containment Station. We could also get something different like Farmhouse, Volter Manor, or Prison. I think a prison map in DBD would be cool. I apologize for only mentioning KF2 maps, but that is the only one I've played (I saw some KF videos before tho).

The map could be that steamboat from the second game. It would be completely original compared to the current maps DBD has to offer.

Honestly, I'm an old school player from the first game, never touched the sequel, just wasn't gaming at the time and haven't gotten around to it so I dunno anything about the maps or such in KF2.
