Doesn't really matter to me. The only thing I dislike is alot of Freddy players tend to tunnel alot. Otherwise I don't mind him.

He’s not really one of my favorite killers to go against but I guess he’s ok.

I like playing against and with him 😊

I don't really like facing him that much, but I won't DC or anything.

I don't care either way as a survivor or as playing as him
The only killer I really dislike going against is Doctor and that's just because I find the Madness stuff super annoying. I suppose to lesser extent Oni as well just because I face him rarely so I haven't really been able to figure out how to play against him and his super ogre powers.
But anyway, yeah, I'm cool with Freddy. Bring it on you Christmas Sweater nerd!!!

I have adapted to him, I still dont like playing as him though

I like playing against him but not as him. I preferred old Freddy, he was underrated.

Freddy is my least favorite killer to face. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he got his buffs but he’s just not enjoyable for me personally. I never liked him.
Especially the Freddy players who stay JUST far enough away from the hook to come back and tunnel the person off the hook because Borrowed Time doesn’t work in the dream world for some reason. Like dude...you’re Freddy, what’s the point?

He’s fine.

I love playing against him, my most intense matches come from Freddy games.

He's okay gameplay wise but I find his abilities boring during a chase. They look rather okay outside of a chase but they aren't really anything special. Slowing down puddles, WOOOOW.

I don't mind playing against him so uh yea...nothin much else to say.

I am not a fan of tunneling Freddys (but then, when is a tunenling killer ever fun?) But for the most part I don't have any problems fighting him, he makes chases more interesting as a good Freddy tries to force you to leave a loop or risk getting hit, so it is always fun to drag a Krueger all the way around the map. Most of the time when you hear people complain they are from people that are just bad at looping and therefore hate antiloop killers in general.

Lol. I laughed a little too hard at that last sentence.

Boring killer with very little counterplay.

This ^

I can literally hear the whole team yawning.. In solo Q.

I doubt u can run a good Freddy around the whole map and I will gladly be your Freddy in a custom match to show you that aren't a good looper either.

Definitely one of my top 3 most disliked killers.
Most matches against him end up being really drawn-out, because Freddies just love running five thousand slowdown perks. The chases aren't interactive either, the scenario is just that Freddy keeps flapping his hand around at every loop, because for some reason he can just spam his puddles without being slowed down, and it has no cooldown either.
The problem is that his kit has so many different things in it, that he's good at everything, but has no clear weakness. Other than being genrushed, but he can just use triple slowdown perks and even addons for that, nullifying any weak points he had.

You said nothing but facts.

I just hate it when I see people run forever Freddy. Regular freddy is fine tbh

I love playing as Freddy! I wish every killer had some sort of ability to help them cover more map distance.
The first time I played against him though I DC'd right away as soon as I entered the dream state because I honestly didn't know what was going on and thought the game was glitching out. Then I ended up looking into his power later on and realized that was supposed to happen and felt kind of bad afterwards.
Other than that first awkward encounter I don't mind playing against him.

I think his power is interesting but it will always bug me how standard his power is considering it's Freddy. Being able to conjure up a large number of things and kill survivors in various gruesome ways in the movies. We're stuck with the one dimensional 2010 Freddy that just drops blood puddles and alternatively the more interesting part of his power being the dream pallets. I wish Freddy had more interesting things he could do on the map and maybe tone him down in other ways to make him less cumbersome to play against. Pyramid Head for example got a lot of treatment I would like Freddy to have as an example. Pyramid Head sends people to a cage at his whim if they're tormented. Why doesn't Freddy get something cool like that? It's Freddy Krueger the Dream Demon. He should be able to do all sorts of cool stuff while survivors are asleep.
Granted I believe this Freddy is better than his initial predecessor but I still find him lacking in a sense. He's perfectly balanced while not being too weak or strong he's almost right in the middle. I just find people suicide on hook a lot against him because he's boring at times and quite honestly he should have never been given the "Survivors receive oblivious" while asleep because in my opinion that encourages camping and tunneling more on Freddy. They could have done something more unique for Freddy in this regard or maybe just made it so that each survivor asleep reduces Freddy's terror radius by 4 so in theory you could reduce his terror radius by 12 - 16 depending on if someone was hooked or not. Although I don't mind the red stain disappearing while survivors as oblivious / asleep.
I'd like to see Freddy have more unique map objects he can create and rework him so he doesn't need addons for his power. He would be so much more interesting that way. For example let him make a fake totem for survivors to waste time on or something along those lines. Get rid of his slowdown addons for efficiency and give him something more cool or interesting. Maybe when all the maps have breakable walls let him create a fake breakable wall that will fool a survivor to think it's safe to walk past and he just walks past it and hits them.
tl;dr - Freddy balance wise is fine but personally I wish his power was more dynamic for the dream world to be more thematically interesting.

I think a strong licensed killer is healthy for dbd. That said I dislike going across the map to wake up.

It depends, he can be hit or miss
like, if its just a normal freddy ? thats fine, and the match could be fun
but if its forever freddy id rather just suicide on hook and move on to the next game

Freddy does not bother me. Now if you said Spirit, then that's a different ball park!

I get hit by his latent lunge and I feel empty inside. Pop Freddy is boring.

I like it, it's a good test of your skills. I feel like i need to play as good as i can if i want to win.
Although i don't play as him as much, but i was an old freddy main

Freddy needs to be toned down some. He just has way too much in his base kit. Move some stuff to his add-ons, add more options to counter play his snares/dream pallets, and give Ropes/Chains some kind of penalty for using them so that there is a trade off if you want to run Forever Freddy.
Basically what I said here:

Freddy doesn't feel boring to me, but there's something oddly underwhelming about his presence. Compared to, well, any other killer, he just doesn't stand out. Whether his character model is too thinned out, or maybe the fact he can vanish from view, he just doesn't feel much more than an atmosphere.

When I play Freddy it's almost always a guaranteed 4k. I cant claim that over any other killer I play.
Does that make him an easy killer? not quite sure why it says "hard" over his character selection icon
When I play against Freddy I know all his tricks so at worst I'm usually the last to die or escape solo. Rarely do I escape with anyone else.
I think Survivors just dont know what to expect with Freddy because hes not too common to go up against.

He’s perfectly fine, even with the passive pressure. I like how he manipulates his environment, though, which is a nice touch. : )
