You actually play as the entity? (for killers anyway)

This has probably been speculated a thousand times, as I used to think about this but never discussed it. However with the new release of Pyramid Head, I pondered a bit. So to cut to the chase, Pyramidboi can get flashed. Even though you know, his face is covered.. I think this is because you are in actuality playing as the entity, looking through the "eyes" of the killer. This is confirmed with the red glow, obviously. ALSO.. when you do your mori as a killer, the "camera" goes in a 3rd person perspective, watching the killer take a life by their hands. Just a thought!! lmao

    Every player is essentially the entity. Killers are directly controlled, so the veiw is first person. Survivors do not control survivors (because controlled survivors give no hope, starving it) so that is why there is a third person view. It is just watching what they do.

    i feel like the entity might be giving the killer something like directions and not controlling him directly. which is why pyramid head is stunned because the voice in his head stops when the flashlight is used because you are blinding the entity? another theory.
