Is there anyone successfully using it without a map with add-ons?

Yes, I use it a fair amount on some of my survivors, just knowing the general area where a totem is good. It only takes like 5 seconds of searching as long as I know what tile it's in.

Yep, I find it fun. It helps me learn totem spawns on maps like lerys, badham, dead dawg saloon, and Hawkins, and it adds a little extra to the game to me.

For me it's no problem without using a map. It procs 5 times, there are 5 totems, so you could try focusing on only 1 totem at a time.

i dont tend to use it because totem spawns can be very predictable and you kind of get used to the typical spawns and the distance between due to tiles etc. however if im aiming for a totem challenge or doing some odd build ill use it, id say remember exact locations of all 5 is hard it will normally depend on the map and positioning, but you will see 5 times anyway so plenty of chances, far better than small game for totem finding thats for sure
