Was wonder if 1440 x 1080 or 1080 x 1080 is better and why.

I haven't been on the forums awhile....but isn't stretched res a controversial topic right now and considered cheating by some and is looked down upon? I could be wrong though, don't quote me on it.

Im pretty sure notqueen did mention it is considered exploiting and bannable. Someone linked it in a thread not too long ago.

Streamers/YouTubers who use it don't get banned nor punished, so it really isn't an exploit.

??? You don't change the game files. You change your desktop resolution.
The argument that it's an exploit is flawed from the start because people like having different desktop resolutions because of how it looks.

They're well known for it, so if you're saying Behaviour doesn't know about it and would ban them if they did know about it, then Behaviour is kinda incompetent.
This is still kinda besides the point though because people use different desktop resolutions without even knowing it makes looping easier. Not all monitors have the same default resolution and some people prefer the look of "stretched" desktop resolutions.

This would not be a problem if they just added an actual FOV slider, like any other normal video game in 2020 would have.

Then it'd be a problem when console cross play releases since we usually don't get for sliders even in games that have them on pc.

Shooters have them put its usually very limited. Highest I've seen is like 110. Usual highest option is 90 though.

My preference would be to just make all of Shadowborn's settings into an FOV slider in the options menu, and then redesign that perk into something else. If they can do it with Shadowborn on all platforms, they can make it a standard thing on all platforms.
