Guys ! I played Freddy for the first time and had 4k, my killer rank was 16 so they maybe weren't that good.

Still it was fun to play him. Any advice?

When I put to sleep someone I follow him until he sleeps to hit him right away, is it a good strategy?

Normally I just break the generator they were on then go after them but that works just as fine.

The key to master him is to learn how to manage the survivors you face against. It's exhausting at high ranks but he's one of the most effective stall killers in the game. He's not so much as a late game killer (despite what his core perks implies) but it is true that he gets stronger near the end of the match since there are less generators to wake up from.

Also learning how to hide your red glow is important for Freddy since it'll help you with mindgames around pallets. This only works with pallets that are next to tall structures like walls and trees and not so much out in the open. He hasn't got any chase potential so you'll have to endure some tedious ######### when chasing a survivor. If you feel that you're struggling against one survivor, break the chase and go back to patrolling the generators, especially when you're playing as Freddy.

Try sleeping as many survivors as possible. If you equip M&A you can do a hit and run strategy. Sleep them, hit them and break the chase. Once they think they lost you and start healing, go in for the down.

Monitor & Abuse. It's a doctor's perk. Which reduces your terror radius (the heartbeat) when you are outside a chase.

    EXACTLY haha.

Still, some people are able to play him rank 1 (not me obviously). And the sweater is frightening you have to admit.

Black box/class photo is amazing, juggle survivors, sleep often, smack or sleep those within reach, keep survivors busy.
