Why does nurse still have so many bugs?
Its like the devs have completly ignored her:(
I was trying to play her for the first time since the rework and almost everygame i played i had a bug
Losing my blinks, unable to blink to areas that ik 100% i should be able too, nurses hand not appearing while charging a blink so i have to guess and much more

This is not true. They've fixed one bug recently on one building in one map.
I'm guessing it's either they're really hard to fix (which explains why they've been in the game for years) or she's just really...really low priority?

I think her bugs are just difficult to fix. Her power is unlike any other killer's. The closest comparison would be the Nightmare's teleport, but even that only gets him to specific points. Hers has to work everywhere, with an arbitrary range.

Not sure..tbh she seems very low priority despite her bugs being some of the worst

It's really getting old. I try to be patient, but she was reworked something like 9 months ago? Last night was brutal. First time in a few months that I straight up rage quit the game. Survivors played a Badham offering. Gen was downstairs in the school. I was either blinking into the basement or dead blinking. I couldn't get it to put me in the boiler room next to the gen. I have 10k lifetime blink attacks. I feel like I probably know the timing on that blink

@edgarpoop That happens to me a lot. It's very hard to play this game for more than a few days and then you need massive time away from it. My friend had a baby in the time between the Nurse rework and today, yet nothing but a single bug or 2 was fixed. That's not even counting the ones before that. I feel you. It's very hard to be patient at this point.

It's really frustrating that I can't go a game without being bugged to hell.

@Sairek Yeah that really bugged me too. The only things they fixed from the PTB was the bugs that benefited her. Nothing else was changed except what made her somewhat more bearable to play. AND the only addon changes we got were nerfs to the only good ones she had :.(

I have been using the Plaid Fannel addon because of this. Its good that you mentioned Badham, because the boiler room is legit a semi-deadzone. You have like a 1-2 frames timewindow on a 60fps monitor to get into it from certain angles. With dedicated servers, where your power usage is delayed, that near impossible to time.

@ABannedCat If I didn't feel like it was neccesary to run the CD addons I would probably be running Plaid Flannel too because knowing if your blink is actually going to where it's supposed to or not right now would be such a god send.

The dead blinks were already painful since her release. but at least you wouldn't have gotten punished with a cooldown. Now you get dead blinks and wrong blinks (looking straight forward but it blinks you to the basement for no reason) and you get a heavy cooldown on top of it.
And people are suprised why noone plays nurse? Bhvr is just annoying.

I know they are separate teams, so everyone who’s planning that reply can stop... but I feel like they need to pull more people to work on bugs and slow down on cosmetics, new killers, new maps, etc
Yes, again I understand they are different teams. But maybe, and I hate to say this, let one or two people go from the cosmetic team to hire two more people to fix bugs?

I think the worst bug that people don't talk a lot about is her wildly inconsistent post-blink lunge. She'll often autolock onto a ghost and tier 1 Myers swing rather than actually lunge like your input is trying to do. And then she'll actually lunge like intended next time and hit them from a mile away. It's like the servers give survivors mini dead hards if they're near your blinks.

People who do art often dont do any code stuff besides some very basic scripts in such projects.
But I do get what you mean, however as stated by me, art department wont fix your bugs beside messed up meshes or textures (if it is not code's fault to begin with).

@edgarpoop I think that's because it's a lot harder to tell when it's happening and when you just took a bad swing.
But oh man does it feel bad to have a perfectly easy hit be ruined because you tried to swing but the game was like nope and 4 clicks later you swing at thing air and get CD on top of it. soooo fun

13 months, still no fix.

Mission accomplished guys they wanted to nuke her so they didn't have to hear survivors cry that she wasn't nerfed enough like whats happening with spirit.

I Love how this post is from June 9th, and a post made an hour or 2 ago was already addressed by a Dev.
Further shows how they would rather have Nurse in the state she is in now.

Same. I know exactly how to blink to certain spots on hawkins, but sometimes i just, well, don't move a single bit.

If they respond and then still don't fix the bugs then they have no excuse. If they don't respond they can always claim that they didn't know about the bugs and so they couldn't fix them.

This is a constant, you’ll see balance or bug threads go ages with no reply. But someone posts a humorous post and the Devs or mods have time to rely to those instantly

It's one thing to ignore the constant stream of 5 year olds on the forum, but it's another to ignore the entire topic of Nurse.
They barely if ever answer anything in a Nurse thread or if they do make a comment it's usually unrelated to the Nurse issue at hand. I just want them to say "we're looking into it" but we don't even get that.
