Am I the only one having problems with nurses lunge on PS4? I wouldn't say i'm a bad nurse, i land most of my blinks, but when i'm not directly behind the survivor the lunge doesn't hit

I dunno. Pc player here and I played her since her release and now she seems to not hit as far as I'm use to. It cpuld just be latency is better but idk.

Her post blink lunge is .333 meters shorter than other killers. It messes me up too, because my muscle memory is on a 6 meter lunge.

Could be latency. In morning/middle of the day I tend to match with euros and they are impossible to hit, even when they are clearly within range. I also snap back on high latency servers, so there's that too.

Or it could be a mechanical error on your part, record the footage to find out more accurately.

I remember when her post blink lunge was normal sized. It's been like this for awhile and I'm pretty sure it's a bug that won't get fixed for a long time. (I really miss her old post blink lunge, I still go for hits that you used to be able too, but still can't due to the shortened lunge)

As a former Nurse main, I noticed it instantly the moment dedicated servers switched on. The lunge would sometimes reach a full distance, and sometimes just barely gets me across an upright pallet, its extremely inconsistent.

It only happens to me when I attempt to lunge as early as possible. If I wait a few moments, I generally get a good lunge. My theory is that the server and the client disagree about how much momentum the kiler has built up prior to lunging, and I assume the server takes priority.

Blink attack lunges are extremely inconsistent. It seems to be a survivor latency thing. It often locks onto where a survivor was rather than where they clearly are on your screen, so you're locked into a short lunge and miss even though you'd hit with a full lunge. A workaround is to hesitate on the lunge for a beat to allow the server to update positioning, and then initiate the lunge. I've found I can get a full lunge if I hesitate even though that's the wrong play, not to mention risky if your blink wasn't entirely accurate.

Half the time it feels like my saw is going through them without actually hitting them.

Her lunge was nefred with a patch but that was long ago. Like around 2 years ago.

I know it changed on PC, maybe consoles still have the old version?

I doubt it. Inconsistecies happen but usually not that big. Maybe it really is latency. I've also heard that consoles sometimes have unstable FPS, so could be that.

she's very inconsistent with how random the servers are still at the moment. that visually shouldn't land are hitting and hits that visually should connect aren't connecting. its super frustrating especially after the recent map changes that added new deadzones.

This is from someone that played nurse on ps4 for a decently long time, it's most likely auto aim/aim assist/ aim dressing however you want to call it, it happens really often on ps4 sometimes you are right behind a survivor and the cam will shake a bit and you will miss a hit

Yeah I miss those days. Your blade would be an inch or two away from them and you still got the hit.

Now it's like your blade can go through them and still not count lol.
