Ban/ matchmaking locked
good night, i am a big fan of dead by daylight, but lately i have been disconnected from the matches due to an error on the server and not on my internet. Due to the frequency, the game banned me for 72 hours, I ask for an analysis, because I have invested my time and money in the game, internet ok, computer parts ok, and to be banned due to a server failure. Is there anything that can be done?

What he said: sup everyone, I am getting frequently kicked out of the game by the server's error and not by my internet, due the frequency I am right now with 72 hours of ban but I didn't quit any game. Is there something to be done? Or just wait...lol

That's really weird. If that's true it sucks, but wouldn't that have to happen over an extended period of time? How much time would it take for somebody to go up each of the tiers, wait it out, and then get back into another game to disconnect again and get the next penalty, up to 72 hours?
Again, if it's true it sucks, but is there really nothing on your end that's causing it? Even if it's not your internet? I haven't seen any more posts of people complaining about disconnecting than usual.

as I said the frequency has been great, I don't see the need for a lie in this case, my computer is only a wall away from the wi fi router, I was banned for 5 hours, then 24 and so on, but thank you for your cooperation, unfortunately it would have to happen to a lot of people to believe it.

But besides that. If it KEEPS kicking you, and its 100% not your internet and not intentional DC, why did you not think to just take a break or re install? If its REALLY the server, you know it's going to happen again unless something is done. And since its happening to you and not everyone, reinstalling and checking your internet would be a good start.

Honestly, once you reach a one hour ban, you should take a break for a couple days. I'm not going to doubt your story, because I've had the server kick me three times in a day before. But once you reach that amount, you might as well count it as a week-long ban. That way your penalty has time to decline. It's the problem with how fast the penalty escalates. Someone who's having legitimate issues are punished far worse than the guy who goes into a match, DC's when things don't go his way, and then moves on to the next game, and repeats until they decide "Meh, I'll play something else. Then come back when I can disconnect again."

Personally this ban is terrible. I had storms over the last two days that knocked me off the game. i am now banned 48 hours.
I get the need to stop the abuse of DC but this is ridiculous. I PAID for this game. I play it all the time and i am now penalized from playing the game.
This needs to stop. Again, I PAID for this game and am now restricted from this use. I have been playing for 2+ years. I would rather let DCs happen than have to contend with this punishment.

im sick and tired of the game just banning me for like 6 hours when the servers are crap, please fix this, this is getting really annoying and im getting ready to just quit this game if it bans me like this again, its getting really annoying

I've seen a few of these posts lately. Not saying it's true or not but as everyone says got to stop and play sonething else for awhile before this happens.

I've had this thing going on where when I start a map it's like my gm disc freezes and makes this weird sound and boots me to xbox dashboard. I dont even have a disc lol i play on GP its happened 4 times this month but luckily longest wait been 4 min for me.

Idk why people can't believe you, you aren't the only one. I never dc on purpose and I had a very rough week when the game constantly threw me out, causing 24h bans. Then it just passed away, idk.
Try using wired connection if you are using wi-fi. If anything, if there is really no problems from your side, it's better to wait and see. This game just lives its' own life and behaves like it wants.

Also, maybe try using something like ExitLag. Idk, this game's ping behaves in a really weird way, so maybe something like vpn should help.

Funny thing is, as someone already said, people who dc on purpose never truly suffer from those penalties, because anything up to a hour is very tolerable. And then you get a day long ban when the game just decides 'you know what? Imma be crashing for the whole week. Do what you wanna do, idc'

IT HAPPENED AGAIN i was playing against a legion, it was my final hook, i die but the game glitches out saying im still on the hook, the game crashes, now i have to wait 12 hours to play again, IM GETTING REAL SICK AND TIRED OF THIS AND IM BOUT READY TO QUIT THIS GOD FORSAKEN GAME I PUT SO MUCH MONEY INTO
