Most Wanted Tome Characters
I know we'll get all original characters eventually but who is everyone most excited to learn more about?
For me it'd be Yui, Wraith and Clown!
Apart from maining the first two (definitely no bias there 👀👀), I'd really love to know more stuff that happened in Yui's life and what Wraith witnessed in his someland before be moved. I'm assuming that what happened at the scrapyard drove him mad and made him the killer he is but I'd love that expanded on a bit more maybe because he seemed decent enough, the reason why he murdered his boss in the first place was because he was so mad he had been unwittingly part of a huge amount of murders because of him so it seems odd that he'd suddenly become such a brutal recurrant murderer (practically) himself.
And with clown there's just so much potential there with him.

HIllbilly, although there may not be much to tell about his childhood, his story must be pretty brutal.

Forgot about hillbilly! His lore could actually be the most heartbreaking since he was abused for so long at such a long age through absolutely no fault of his own. Like what if they contrast his before with being super gentle and loving animals, how am I supposed to play against him then???
((Also tbh remembering he has to get one is also making me very scared for what his challenges might be when i look at my hillbilly skills))

I want to see Ace, his lore barely elaborates on anything about him, he is just an immigrant with a serious gambling problem and thats it.

Yui and Zarina for Survivors, Plague and Hag for Killers. Those four have such interesting stories, I'd love to hear more about them.

I really wanted to see Dwight and Huntress and lucky they got in one tome! So now I don't really wait any special characters.
But I want to know more about most earlier killers like Wraith and Hilbilly. Because it looks like their lore was far-fetched. Devs made maps and killer disigns. But their first killer's lore doesn't really fits because looks like devs didn't look so far back then. Like why is Miner using Beartraps? How did Car Dump Worker get his Invisibility bell and ritual add-ons? Why is Abused Farmer Boy have Chainsaw that make him run so fast? I really want to see how they make more sence to their lore.

Agree x100 with plague tbh, her and wraith are top two for killers, clown close after.
A tome with Yui+Jake (no reason for Jake, I don't really like his lore but I'd like to know more about him as a character) and Wraith+Plague would be the DREAM
Zarina has the most potential for interesting stories I think but I'm just not that invested in her, would still be very happy with a Yui×Zarina instead of Jake though

For me, I'd really love to see Adam's background further defined as he and I have a bit in common, my future lies in teaching English in Japan.
Another one I'd really like is Oni, I want to see his story behind the family since he had a son.

Survivors
Yui - it would be nice to see something like how she managed to form her gang especially considering how close they were to her and as she became an inspiration to all of them
Min- I definitely want more insight into Min's relationship with her family and her fans as well. We already know for the most part she estranged herself from her family outside of holidays but it would be nice to know her general personality was as at least in the entity's realm she's described as very much a lone wolf who only really cares about herself also as stupid as it sounds I do want my headcanon to be confirmed.
Killers.
Honestly the only one I really had for this is legion and we've gotten at least one part of the Legion story it seems like they're going to be doing it off each Legion member so it would be nice to see different examples of Joey and Susie considering we already know a lot about Frank.
However I'm really not fond of the archives for the Legion we currently have it seems that whoever made it did not care to read the actual Legion backstory in the slightest. As it's heavily contradicting points already they only have a couple pages and a cutscene left so let's hope they fix it and don't go further off the retcon deep end.

I want Plague I really really want to see what turned her into a killer. Lorewise her Bio seems to indicate she should of been a survivor more than a killer.

I've the same reason for Yui, I'd love to learn about her legacy and what she did to be admired so much to the point where she had followers who donned pink in her honor
About legion, I actually have read all the released lore from the tome yet because I was waiting for it all to be released so I didn't know about that. You can mention it if you want I don't care about spoilers but you don't have to wastr your time with it either since I could literally just go read through them myself either lol

That's actually so awesome that you have a character you can relate to like that! I almost did botany at one stage in my life so I almost had claudette lol Maybe someday we'll get a geologist character, but let's be real 😅

I hope it is Wraith, because he sounds like the nicest out of the bunch (doesn't kill just for the sake of it, etc.), and why the entity gave him the wailing bell.

Actually that'd be really interesting, I wish they correctly represented Adam with cosmetics tho :\\\ There's no additional teacher outfits, he only gets streetwear which really doesn't align with his story sadly :(
A geologist would be nice tho! Maybe a killer with Earthly powers from it, eh? Or a survivor would be good, too!

This is exactly exactly exactly what I thought when I read Plague's lore at first, I never got why she was suddenly a killer when she seemed like such a great caring person until her end, maybe she was bitter that her faith failed her but that to me doesn't equate murder? It almost worries me for her lore how they'll go about it while not straying too far from how they portrayed her so far.
Maybe the last prayer she made was to be saved and the entity answered but in return she had to partake in the trials?
Yay! I really don't care about hag idk I just don't like her at all and I can't really pinpoint why but I'd be so excited for Wraith! Was anything mentioned about survivors?

The long and short of it without completely spoiling.
The initial premise of legion was a group of teenagers (Julie, Susie and Joey) being twisted and influenced by a impulsive Mastermind (Frank. Even though let's be honest calling Frank a mastermind even before the archives is a little bit overshooting but I get what they were going for) onto a path of crime and violence realising the like that addictive freedom.
The archives from at least what I have read we're still waiting for the last level of the Tome for the last pages and the cutscene it seems that it's taken a lot of the twisting and Influence from Frank and moved it to Julie

Nothing was mentioned about the survivors unfortunately, I guess they’re still trying to correctly choose which survivors would be the most suitable for the theme of the next tome.

I'd love that a lot yeah haha but I wouldnt be disappointed not having it at all because I know it's not very versatile for lore, I'd even just be so happy with a rock themed killer lol
I really do agree with Adam's cosmetics, it's good to have a mix of lore related and casual but Adam doesn't really have that in the limited cosmetics he does have, the same with Claudette where as a botanist she really should have a lab coat cosmetic or something, there's so much lab work in botany when your studying it I actually had to double check that she didn't because I thought it'd be a given. It would also be a great cosmetic to go against the blendette complaint but in fairness I'm not sure how popular the cosmetic would be

That is a but frustrating, hopefully they can resolve it well though without going back on much more, I think legion is probably in a mroe difficult situation lore wise just with the fact that they have to do it 4 times based on the same group with different perspectives and make sure nothing at all clashes between them rather than the rest of the killers which are independant of eachother and won't affect eachother's lore (oni and spirit aside but still they're so distantly related I don't think it'll be and issue).
Ah, that's a pity. I have a feeling Zarina and DS won't be for another while at last since they're still relatively new and BHVR will probably wait for them to be purchased more and for a bigger gap before they put their perks in the shrine

In my opinion, I believe the survivors for the next tome will be Meg and Adam, I don't know why, something about those two just seem to fit.

They could still probably do Ghostface since he is an original character from DBD, even if he shares the mask of the Funworld stuff.

Oni. One of his add-on mentions that he had a son, Akito. I would love to see a cinematic of both doing something father-son related. My second will be Zarina

Hag and Wraith will be pretty cool for killer lore I suppose. Maybe something in their past that shows their more violent nature even though there were both not violent people at all!
for survivors I guess Adam would be cool (just to get a new outfit in the rift)
