Should I run enduring on trapper?
I am thinking of running a chase perk on trapper. Is enduring good on him?

Yes, Enduring is the best Chase Perk for M1-Killers. Not giving a ######### about Pallet Stuns is great.

Thanks, I was thinking about it, but now I know.

Enduring is generally a great perk on every Killer (except Spirit, Huntress and Nurse lol).
However, I'd honestly use Spirit Fury or Brutal Strength over it.

Spirit Fury does only really make sense with Enduring, because otherwise the Survivor will still get quite some distance with a stun. But other than that, Brutal Strength is also a good option, even tho I either run it combined with Enduring or on Doc, because people tend to drop Pallets early against Doc.

It’s not a great pick. You can avoid pallet stuns by placing a trap, even if the survivor drops it on your head the animation will make you avoid the stun. You can also just trap near the pallet and the survivor will usually run away to another tile. I don’t eat too many pallets as Trapper so I wouldn’t pick Enduring, personally.
I’d say a better chase perk for him is Save The Best For Last, having a shorter attack cooldown helps in chases and also helps you to snowball. Trapper has a strong defensive game, so being able to dish out multiple hits quickly to grouped up survivors is pretty useful.

Ah, thank you I need to get good at that tactic with the pickup animation.

Enduring, Spirit fury, Brutal strength, Unrelenting. Master of time saving.

It's okay but not great. If you have Save The Best For Last unlocked, use that perk instead.
Edit: I just saw what the user above me (xenotimebong) wrote and that they took the time to explain more detailed. Basically that.

I disagree. I think Spirit Fury is fine without Enduring, since it's only about 3 seconds that they can only cover about 12 metres of. Even with a normal 115% like Trapper, he can catch up quickly still.

Yeah , it's just that- "fine". Not great.
I personally wouldn't use it by itself unless I use a low level killer with no other decent perks that I would prefer using over it. A good survivor can use that stun duration to get to another pallet etc.

Yeah, I guess you're right about that.

Spirit fury? Really? I think that one kind of blows on its own. Without enduring it feels like a waste.
But hey to each their own
Edited to add: nevermind, i see your response to others.

Why unrelenting with this? Ive found unrelenting doesnt do well without overcharge and distressing.
What might go better if youre skipping tracking perks is STBFL. That could be a pretty wicked combo for ending chases very quickly.

Enduring is not really worth it on trapper as someone said you can basically counter a pallet stun by going into the trap animation brutal is honestly better but not a requirement.

Enduring is a bad idea on trapper. You should learn the stun tech of placing a trap right before the stun as the animation protects you.
0 -
Yeah, I am going to start learning that.

id argue that STBFL is the best chase perk

dont listen to the guys telling you to run brutal strength or enduring. Enduring if you HAD to run it but it always feels lame now and not worth running after the nerf. Its easier to just not take the stun really. Honestly the best thing you can do as trapper is run:
STBFL
Sloppy Butcher
PGTW
Corrupt Intervention / Noed
STBFL and Sloppy are no brainers for M1 killers and PGTW is your regression perk. Its great, especially on a trapper who already set up one side of the map. Hes an endgame killer so keeping those gens alive at the end with a 3 gen rewards him even more. Corrupt if you want an easier time early game or Noed if you want a more Powerful Endgame, since its trapper. He cant compete with the survivor meta very well so dont feel too bad.
In closing trapper, being the posterboy seriously needs a buff or rework to keep up with these new killers with more than one power. Id love to see his perks get buffed as well. It would be cool if unnerving presence would make survivors scream if they dont hit great skill checks while working on a gen in his TR or somthing like that.

Yeah, he definitely needs a buff, my build right now is: Corrupt intervention, BBQ, infectious fright and a perk that I swap out a lot, but right now it's pop.

That's cool. I tried something similar to that build but I play trapper more defensively. So I usually dont find success with infectious or BBQ even though the blood point gains are nice. If I wanted to use those perks I'd just play a more offensive killer like michael, billy or oni. You gotta play killers to their max potential and use what their base kit provides.
