Let us argue: I'm all ears.
Long days and pleasant nights! Welcoming all hot takes, unpopular opinions and tough questions. I have recently seen a rise in popularity of the perk 'I'm all ears', as it is a godsend to PH. I think it is an amazing perk on a lot of killers! It helps a lot with jungle gyms and mindgames. What do you think of it? Is it weak, is it strong?

I dig it, its fun. 😊

Yeah, it is very fun getting the mindgame with I'm all ears, it has become one of my favourite perks ☺️.

I have mixed feelings. Because the long cool down, it usually activates before im in a position to take advantage of it. However, when I can take advantage of it, its great

I still don't understand the point of it.
What information do you get from it that you wouldn't get by just using your ears, eyes, and brain?
Edit:
Like L-T walls; it's basically useless both you and the Survivor can see each other the whole time and know where the other is going.
Jungle gyms; it won't help you unless you can also hide your Red Stain and Terror Radius.
Old God Loops/Killer Shack Windows; you can physically see the Survivor at all times if you look through the cracks in the wall.

Yeah, I find the long cool down to be the biggest let down of the perk, besides that I love it.

Let me explain, first of all, iron will is a meta perk now denying a lot of sound you can use. Second, L and T walls are some of the most annoying loops, you can pull off some amazing plays. Also, there are very specific loops that I'm all ears can help you shut down, like the cow tree on coldwind farm maps.

Survivors make noise when they run and leave scratchmarks; unless they're fast vaulting a window miles quite a distance away you can just see where they went with your eyes.
Maybe it's because I play on console, but I've never had an issue with an L T wall; you position yourself so that you're in the center of the time and I find there's just not enough time or distance for a Survivor to avoid a mindgame.
As for cowtree the Survivor can see you at all times. I don't get how knowing where they are would help shorten the loop.

I play on console as well, you can hide in the middle of the cowtree and it hides your red stain, so you can mindgame them without them seeing you. Maybe it's just that I have trouble with L & T walls.

Looking forward to giving it a shot on Pyramid Head. Hitting survivors through walls with the wave attack.

Same, probably going to be the best perk on PH.

I use it on three killers right now: Ghostface, Nurse, and Legion.
It is strong on Ghostface because you can remove your stain and the survivor will lose track of where you are. Makes you appear like a master mind gamer because you always correctly guess where they are going.
Nurse - You can literally blink right on top of them. Good for two or three hits a game.
Legion - when going for your first M2 hit you lose scratch marks. If they vault during the M2 you can still track their aura and it removes their ability to window juke you.
I am also considering it on Huntress but haven’t unlocked it on her since P3ing.

Yes, it is currently most effective on those killers. Don't forget wraith since he can remove his stain and terror radius and use his speed boost along with I'm all ears to mindgame.

It's ok, but not something you really need on most killers

if you would...try giving these a watch. The beginning of the first video shows a pretty good example of an Im all ears strike while the 2nd video has several.
9:45 and 11:20 are my personal favorites from this 2nd video.

I run it when I have nothing else, I am not really a big fan of it

Ah, I've been meaning to watch those, thanks!

I think it's a great perk hampered by a huge cooldown. As much as I love it when it works and can sing it's praises I rarely ever actually use it unless I have nothing else.

I sometimes use it on Nurse. Can be very helpful for her. That's about it.

I use it a lot! I'm not very good with loops, so it really helps balance them out for me. It's also great on GF if it procs and I have my power available because I can go stealth and easily get the hit/down. But really on any killer it helps me plan how to approach the survivor in a loop to shorten the chase.

Mixed feelings tbh
Sometimes it allows for amazing plays, other times it doesn't do anything at all
