Doc is way too broken. You can level up in madness without even getting shocked a second time, he has a good lunge, and he's an overall easy win ticket due to him being an overpowered killer. Nerf this boy.

    Ok, the lunge comment was dumb, but I still believe that his whole shock system is busted.

    Too many micro abilities on top of his two main ones. He has shock that increases madness along with a pulse that hits basically anyone and everyone even if they are half across the map. His madness 2 allows him to see where people are, and madness 3 does the same except by screaming. On top of that, his pulse has vertical dominance as well so you could be a floor above him on Gideon for example and still get hit by the ability. The only counter to him as of right now is to jump in a locker or run calm spirit. No one can just jump in a locker since they are only located on fixed parts of the map. And idk why anyone would run calm spirit for any other killer other than the doctor. A single perk should not be the counter to a killer regardless. And calm spirit is usually worthless unless you knew that you were going to face the doctor. So basically, the counter play to his current kit just isn't there. Doctor beats everyone that doesn't run calm spirit, he beats people on the pallet loop since he can make them scream locking all survivor input, and he basically has walls built into his kit.


    Take into account that everything I have stated is the doctor WITHOUT even adding perks or add-ons into the equation. His base kit is too strong and there's no point in playing against him

    I don't really see a problem with the doctor really. In my opinion he isn't really a good killer, much worse than the spirit, nurse and billy.

    Nah I met a couple who had pretty good skill by making sure people stayed around stage 2 or 3 and then get a easy 4k

    In my opinion the doctor is a very good killer against low ranked survivors who aren't used to playing against him yet or already have trouble hitting skillchecks. You don't see the doctor in the high ranks simply because he isn't viable enough for easy wins against more experienced survivors.

    Lunging is not usually about having a bad connection, so much as it is about the killer having a worse connection. The reason for so many lunges is because the servers hand it to the killer, who controls the lobby.


    The Doctor's shock has too many micro-abilities, which is what he was saying. You can't go below tier 1, you can't snap out of it until you hit tier 3. While afflicted by any of the shocks, you scream initially, your skill checks get screwed, he can see your location. When he spams his little shocks, they make you scream (not much of an issue if you're in chase), but they prevent you from being able to act for a few seconds, they slow you down, and they still build up your madness. For a killer that has a spammable ability that slows you down every time you use it, and prevents you from being able to flip pallets or vault, etc, at the very least, he should be slowed to 110%. Base speed of 115%, plus the blood lust, plus the ability to slow you down and prevent you from vaulting or using items is a bit much. Not saying he's unbeatable, but it's literally the most passive nonsense for a single ability, period.


    At the very least, I'd be fine if they would either put a small cool-down on his shock spam, or grant a temporary immunity after 3 of them hit you in a row. Anything to prevent him from spamming it and literally making you unable to act in a loop, despite the fact that, like every other killer, he will literally catch up with blood-lust anyway. Again, slowing him would be a fair trade. There are a number of options than what appear to be a killer main's obvious "just get good."


    There are plenty of survivors out there that have an entitled mentality, just like there are plenty of killers, but a written complaint about a particular issue that seems unable to be countered isn't entitlement. In your case, "getting good" would simply be preventing the doctor from spamming the ability, which people obviously can't do, just like, if a killer decides to camp, you can't exactly prevent him from doing so, so "get good" isn't an viable option to counter campers. We have perks on the survivor side of the aisle to help prevent it, and guess what? Killers complain about it. Apparently perks to counter killers are "second chances," but killer perks to counter survivors are "simply strategy."


    Yeah, both sides complain.

    Doctor isn’t that good, he’s overrated. You need to:

    1-loop around the pallets without dropping them

    2-connect pallet loops if you are in a pallet/jungle gym

    3-watch out for his shock fakes

    That is pretty much it, you can loop him by doing those and you’ll be fine. And as an doctor main, It’s not easy to play doctor. You need to know every tile and time your shocks perfectly.

    Hell yes! I also have seen some Clown making 4k, he's obviously too OP, needs nerf immediately.

    His shock can hit people halfway across the map? Only if he's playing with a very specific build (Distressing and double Calm addons). His static blast affects his terror radius, which is 32m at base. That's very far cray from half the map.

    Madness 2 allows him to see where people are? Only when they increase in madness. Unless you're talking about his Restraint addon? Because I feel like you're not. Either way making you scream for 2 seconds just isn't that big a deal to survivors who aren't completely reliant on stealth. Lots of killers have good tracking abilities/perks/addons these days. You're not always going to be able to hide behind a bush.

    As for his anti-loop abilities, they're not as powerful as you might think. High ranked survivors are pretty good at playing against him. Just stop trying to stop at pallets/windows when you're stunned. He gets slowed down while shocking you, so go for another lap around the loop.

    Doctor is aids to play against but he isn't overpowered by any means. His power is generally used for tracking and to stump survivors from using resources is timed correctly. Hypothetically speaking, if the doctor does not optimize his semi-anti-loop power he can and will get looped even by a decent survivor. For his static blast, it can be avoided if the survivor is wearing calm spirit or is hiding in a locker; it can be hard to remember to hide in a locker but it brings another layer of counterplay whilst reading the killer.
