Pyramid Head which addons will you stockpile as you level?
So everyone's opinions could change after some live play, but the first big chance to build up addons is during the initial levelling I mean 50+ levels all at once, for some people probably more like 200-300 in the first couple days. So out of the brown, yellow and green addon groups which are you planning to focus on? Which, if any, of the rares are you looking to acquire if they're reachable on your bloodwebs? First, the ultra rare Iridescent Seal of Metatron which shows the aura of tormented survivors when you cage someone is the only one I've interested in at all amongst red or purple.
Here are the categories that repeat with different values from brown to green:
Trail lasts longer, this is the one I really like as going from 75 seconds to 95 seconds could make a big difference.
Longer range of attack, this is the one I'll focus one even though it's only a couple of meters.
Recharge time
Longer time to drag the trail

P3 first
Definitely what him blood coated since cosmetics will be both limited and longwaiting. If not expensive

None. P3 50 is the first priority and even then I never run addons as any killer. I only usually run addons the game before I prestige them where I bring the strongest and see what havoc I can wreak with them.

Well p2 is my plan for day one, on the way to p1 I will keep the bloodwebs cheap as possible. On the way to p2 though I want to pile up some good addons and BP offerings to prepare and buildup BP for the push to p3.

Well I don't know if Pyramid Head will be getting something but there will be cosmetics in the store at the release of the chapter and original cosmetics are also being created for the chapter.
"Dead by Daylight is also adding typical cosmetics for Pyramid Head and Heather Mason into the store on the day the new chapter releases, but with a more extensive scope. Richard said it has been hard to add cosmetics for licensed characters like Freddy Krueger because they have a specific "look," but the Silent Hill characters will get original, unique outfits designed in-house by Behaviour through its partnership with Konami."

That's fantastic

This is intriguing, I can't wait to see what they are. I may buy instead of prestiging

Attack range, others seem pretty pointless in terms of usefulness... id personally rather add-ons that added mangled etc. on tormented survivors, all these add-ons seem lack luster so im likely to just go by the cheapest option or range, doing so will allow me to get every perk much faster anyway. from the ptb he looked like a strong killer that wasnt so add-on dependent which is a nice change, i would of liked his iri add-on that mutes his terror radius while he walks on the trails to mute his terror radius when dragging, that would of made for an interesting playstyle and removes the camping potential.

I like the trail duration, as that makes it easier to track survivors as the game is winding down and enables you to force survivors into Torment or run without a loop.
Trail recharge is also really good since you can leave trails in a chase and then have enough charge to attack if you need to use your ranged hit.
Honestly, the add-ons might be generic, but they all are pretty much useful. although, Purple and Pink ones are extremely niche.

Reminds me of Hag, her brown through greens for range and setting time are almost her best addons

Honestly I probably won't bother with his addons too much considering they don't seem to be all that strong. His range addons increase the range by 0.5m (brown), 1.0m (yellow) and 1.5m (green). Might as well play without them given the fact it's easier to dodge the ranged attack the more distance you have.

More distance makes the animation move faster so it doesn't get easier to dodge

If that's the case I will probably try and get as many wax doll addons as possible. Seems to be somewhat realistic for consistent use. Maybe Wax Doll and Black Straps? Nothing too crazy but potentially useful if it really makes the damage-wave travel faster.

I am pretty sure that's how it works, that's how the tests I watched all seemed to work. It travels 8 meters in whatever time, each section filling up in .03 seconds or something ridiculously small... if you add 1.5 meters then each segment is SLIGHTLY longer but fills up in .03 seconds still. If anything this makes it harder to dodge but again that is IF i understand the tests correctly. For me nothing else looks exciting so I may as well extend the reach

So it indirectly makes it stronger in the short range then?

Aaaah ok I get it. The damage duration of the damage wave is 0.6 seconds (+0.3 seconds of warning duration). The damage duration is fixed so if the range is extended by addons the result is an increase of the wave speed as the range still has to be covered in 0.6 seconds as dictated by the attack mechanic. If that's how it works I will definitely stick to range addons.

Same, his P3 outfit is one of the best among others IMO. And after that, i will choose the cheapest add-ons since i don't use add-ons anyway.

Yes, if they’re 4 meters away it will get to them just a tiny tad quicker than it would if you didn’t have addons. Again this is just my understanding of the results I watched testing.
Somethjng else that works like this is the Clown Addons that cause the cloud to cover more area, Otz explains it very well that it causes them to fill that larger area in the same time. So it will just barely catch someone that it may have missed without addons. Watching that would be better than me trying to explain it I’m bad at it lol.
Admittedly going from 8 meters to 9.5 isn’t great, even stacking green yellow to get 10.5 isn’t even huge but it’s probably his best option at least for me

Yeah thats a very good question.
Im thinking trail duration and power recharge.
Maybe power duration and his powers attack range as close 3rd/4ths?

Bloody hell your idea for the iri add-on is great!

Thankyou, to me it makes more sense and would be far more interesting to use and would combo with the other add-ons, Not only that but can you image working on a totem or something and he just passes you dragging his blade without a terror radius haha
