Buff Noed to make it fair?
Now personally i have no problem with noed, it is a strong effect but it has it's easy counter. Tbh i never use it cause it feels like a wasted perk slot a lot of the times.
It is a big bullseye for survivor complaints though. Which i can understand some off. Going through the whole game and then suddenly get oneshotted at the end cause you only cleansed 3 totems and your teammates didn't bother sucks.
Rancor is a simular perk, but doesn't really get that much hatred apart from a tantrum every now and then. The big difference between these 2 is that Rancor warns the survivor it's in play, while Noed doesn't
So what if we did something simular. For example giving the survivor oblivious while cleansing a totem or revealing the survivor and killers aura to each other after you finish cleansing a totem. Maybe scream after cleansing a totem. getting the hindered status effect for a short duration after cleansing one.
Just any beneficial effect for the killer that gives Noed some value before the end game, but that warns the survivors that it's in play so they don't have to feel like taken a gamble if it's in play or not
Probably not a perfect solution or even a bad one but i am curious about what you people think about this

Honestly it dosent need a buff, and thats not me saying it needs a nerf noed is fine for now so lets leave it like that.

Noed doesn't need a buff. It does its job by punishing gens being rushed to quickly without respecting the chance it comes into play. If any changes were made to Noed it would be a full rework that would provide a similar effect to what it does now, but I doubt that would happen as the Devs seem to be content with it as of now.

It would be better if the attitude surrounding NOED would change, not the perk. For example, it would be better if people started actually leaving their teammates to die instead of going on pointless suicide runs to give the killer more free kills. It would be nice if people didn't think "do bones" was counterplay and acknowledged that it can easily win more games than NOED itself even if you successfully cleanse all 5 totems AND the killer had NOED. And it would be really, really great if people stopped using the perk as facecamping insurance.
Bam. NOED fixed. Suddenly its no longer turning the tide of a match and most players will stop running it since it's not really giving them much but 1 free kill that barely effects their scorecard.
