Why are players so rude?
Greetings my fellow people of the fog.
i've been playing about 400 hours now and i still don't understand why players are so rude to each other. I mean it's just a game we all enjoy but yet players use foul language in the end game chat and are straight up rude to killers and/or other survivors. It's one thing if it's only a few players but i've seen this happen regularly on a day to day basis. How is there not a profanity filter built in to the chat yet? How are rude players not automatically flagged? I'm a gamer so this is not my first online game and i am just disgusted at the way the community treats each other. I've put off my chat but i usually turn it back on to say "gg" and "wp". I can only speak for the EU side since that is the server i play on. Not sure how it is US side. It's so weird , the game is not even competitive and the ranks are only there to serve as a way to have players match with players more there level. Lately i been getting red rank players even though i'm only rank 12 killer as of today. My guess is swf low ranks teaming with red ranks cause usually there is 1 player the same lvl as me but thats not why i created this post.
Anyway , i suggested a single player and mini games modes for something else to do instead of just jumping rite back into it.

It's an 18+ game. Not exactly a family experience. I think that's what you should expect from an unbalanced game with tons of bugs

It really sucks but as a killer I get messages like "lmao you r bad you only killed 2 people and you had to use NOED lmao" or something like that. I usually respond with "yeah it was a tough game! You guys were really good! GG"
And all I get back is "gg".
I once got "sorry for being mean man I've just been having a lot of bad games gg wp". It was nice

People get frustrated and take it out on other players.
People also go into the game to ruin other people's days just so they can have their own brand of fun.
Not everyone is toxic but the good folks in this community are in the lower side of numbers in this player base.
I play on ps4 and I say at least 8/10 games you get trolls and hate mail.
I set everything to private a few weeks back due to constant party invite spam mid match due to angry players who bullied the wrong killer.

because there are a lot of toxic youtubers, streamers and content creators who play by trying to bully (baby killers, usually in lower ranks, or faking the match with KYFriends, and after lots of recordings and failing misserably, they get to that baby killer to make the montage) that are seen by the childish community and then they try to replicate them to bully the killers and as their favourite conte creators failing misserably most time (luckily) is what it is, i wish all killers were good at the game, the respect would increase massively because if u try to be toxic you get steamtolled by the killer with no chance to have fun.
