The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Spirit is reverse Legion
Legion- Killer that easily injures people, but struggles at downing injured Survivors.
Spirit- Killer that struggles to injure people, but is amazing at downing injured Survivors.
At high ranks, Survivors usually don't care that much about being injured because of perks like Iron Will, Resilience and Dead Hard. They usually only heal eachother after they've finished a generator or if they have a self-heal perk or med-kit. Also, Survivors are just accustomed to giving Killers free first hits because of dead zones or committing to a generators and they tend to count on using the speed boost to get somewhere safer to loop.
That's why Spirit is good and Legion is mediocre. But they're very similar ideas. A power that gives you mobility to help you get one easy hit and pretty much leaves the other hit up to traditional M1 gameplay.

Spirit can also phase to get the first hit in. Frenzy doesn't help you nearly as much in downing a survivor, only for blocking certain spots and distance.

It still boggles my mind to this day that people think legion is weak. The legion power is the most free hit in the game. All it takes is 1-2 chase perks on him/her and you are an M1 monster who instantly exposes anyone you see.
i'd put this up there as one of the best builds you can run in the entire game. You could swap out BBQ with something else.

Compared to all the other powers in the game legion really has one of the weakest.Only the right perks and addons make him decent.

I really wouldn't say that a good spirit struggles at getting that first hit.Even healthy survivors make sounds which the spirit can take advantage of.

I don't think perks needed should be a factor considered, because once you have them you never have to run anything else. Add-ons sure; but if you are running BBQ and doing well in your games you can afford to be running what you want alot of the time.
Blood echo and bamboozle are just fantastic on legion, and help shore up two of their main weaknesses (dead hard, jungle gyms+shack, god windows). Nothing is better than getting off a blood echo, running over to some injured person with BBQ and knowing they will not be able to dead hard for distance at the next loop. He/she is one of the few killers I feel can afford to even run it.

When you use ff and vault, does bamboozle still pop?

Yes, that's part of why it's so good on legion. You lob through the windows in FF faster than survivors I believe, while also blocking them. Since you are basically an M1 killer it's invaluable for helping to shut down the strongest loops in the game.
Since many of the god windows (but not all), have been removed, the biggest time wasters in DBD are now the shack and jungle gyms. Bamboozle cuts the amount of time you spend at them by a huge majority, unless the tiles are back to back.

Yeah thats really good to know, thanx

At Rank 1, I tend to run Pop/Surge/Corrupt/BBQ on Legion. It's one of the most consistent builds you can run. Corrupt gives you early game slowdown to start chaining Frenzy without getting gen rushed. Surge hits the nearby gens for regression and Pop is for the gen you see with BBQ.
I can see the value of Blood Echo and Ruin on Legion, but they're more Map/Survivor dependent. If you get a big map with easy totem spawns like an Autohaven, Ormond or MacMillian you'll lose Ruin in the first 30 seconds and won't be able to keep people injured because they're too spread out to chain Frenzy.

I would never take legion into a game without chase perks. As an M1 killer, you can get run to the god windows and back with absolutely no answer. Against most pick up groups sure, that build is adequate. But against some of the best in the game? No chase perk M1 killer is not going to cut it. I don't consider rank 1 an indicator of skill.
The new ruin is a huge risk, huge reward. Any game going moderately well; it will seal the fate of the survivors, similar to devour hope (but it works instantly).
Blood echo is probably my favorite perk in the game since it negates dead hard, but only a few killers can really use it effectively. Legion is one of them.

I usually play for a three gen (or four if possible). Chase people in my territory to create dead zones and let the far away generators go early. The Survivors usually back themselves into a corner where everyone is injured, there's nothing to work with and every time someone goes down the generators lose 33%+ progress. Even SWF teams struggle against that. You win by getting them in a scenario where the simply can't finish their objective and they slowly lose the war of attrition.
Legion is only really good when you get a small map or use generators to gradually shrink the map. If you let teams spread out, you pretty much lose by default since you don't have the map pressure of other Killers.

Don't compare Spirit to Legion. That implies Spirit is bad. Or that Legion is good.
Both statements are blatantly untrue.

Can you explain this build? Like what's your plan with this? Even tho I play a lot of Legion lately (and I enjoy it) I never put much effort and time into creating good builds. Especially with the addons I feel to confused. But I would like to try out your build tho

It implies they have similar designs and one is executed better.
Try avoiding a hit from a Legion with Frenzy while healthy or a Spirit with Haunting while injured. Its probably not gonna happen

Well, when you make a tier list you usually look at base of the killer and legion without the right perks and addons IS weak.
Stronger killers aren't as perk and addon reliant as the weaker one and Legion heavily depends on the right perks and addons.

If they absolutely need an optimal build and addons to be viable then they're by no means a good killer.
Look at freddy, spirit or huntress, you can definitely throw in a meme perk or two and still manage to do fine with brown addons.

It does not matter. You can run around with clown at red ranks and 3-4k on anyone who isn't SWF. I have rolled over 'competitive' DBD 'tournament' teams using the meta killers and an ebony mori.
Killers, using their optimal loadouts, are much more powerful than survivors can ever be. Legion is no different. The only thing that should give you trouble is a 3-4 man team on comms using all the meta perks. There is a reason the best killers in the game go hundreds of games in a row without losing.

So the one thing they have in common is that they're extremely poorly-designed Killers?
I agree.

spirit is good cuz you can get first hit and down with the phase, is not struggling for first hits really. Also spirit power last longer, is faster and you can use it as a movement tool not only for hits. Legion is not mediocre, is bad. His power can may give him a first hit but survivor will spread out and pratically make legion only an m1 killer. And even if you hit one guy, your power stuns you... hello? Nurse has a stun but she can blink trough everything. Legion can just vault things and get one hit and then a stun that is longer than the nurse one. Legion needs a rework or something like that. (Legion is also annoying as hell as survivor)
