Should survivors be oblivious to the fact they have oblivious?
I dunno it seems kinda weird that a survivor knows they're oblivious. Especially around demo portals, it clues them that there is a trap near them.

Yeah DBD holds your hand far to frequently for my liking.
I hate knowing the obsession is being chased
I hate knowing the killer is using "Hex: Insert name" simply because I touched something.
I hate knowing a survivor has No Mither at the start of a match (wish they started healthy but had no way to ever heal/the perk takes effect after first hit)
Basically I hate having all this information spoon fed to me, since it removes any tension or actual need for awareness.

100% agreed with this. I think once you hit rank 15 all that ######### should go away

Also, why are all survivors aware of hex: huntress lullaby, when they get a skill check and the killer hasn't even gotten a stack yet.

agreed, should remove all effects at the side of the screen no matter what it may be. Killers cant see infection rate, mend timer, BT timer etc. so... not to mention being told what effects you have ruins any sort of surprise (HEX:HUNTRESS LULLABY) like ffs why tell me at the first skillcheck i get...

It takes next to zero skill to get to rank 15. Not sure why you would think that would be a fair cut off. If anything it should be based on hitting devotion.

Yeah the game does Hold Your Hand a lot. Let's take The Killer for example. The auras of every generator, hook, exit gate is revealed in perpetuity without any perks. I wonder how different the matches would be if the killer had to work a little bit to find generators or exit gates or hooks.

In the real world, if i’m being oblivious i’m not aware that i’m oblivious you could say i’m oblivious to being oblivious.
So i feel like they shouldn’t be told they’re oblivious, cause then they look around and that infact is not very oblivious of them.
Also the world oblivious sounds funny now.

Look I would agree with this statement apart from the fact that I’m not a fan of all these oblivious perks and add ons coming in to the game now. What’s the point of playing a stealth killer if you can run an addon or perk that makes you undetectable. I think oblivious and other indicators that the killer is undetectable need to stay otherwise you are literally saying stuff you we don’t need you to all stealth killers.

I don't know. Removing the notification could lead to lots of arguments about suspected hacking.

Either remove the Oblivious notification, or have all Killer detection perks like Spine Chill, Premonition, and Object of Obsession light up and stay active / keep triggering until Oblivious wears off.
