Why is their strategy to remove counterplay?
They've been buffing killer nonstop for a really long time and introducing new killers who simply don't have reasonable counters. if a doctor actually uses his ability optimally, there is no counterplay if you cannot interact with either a window or a pallet for 2.5 seconds. Few doctors are able to do so, it seems, but there is absolutely no counterplay when you come across them. You can hope to luck out and get a spin or other dodge, but the odds are miniscule, at best. If you're running deafblind against a Spirit - as you fundamentally are - you have no ability to tell where she is, if she's using her ability to begin with, etc., to decide what to do next. If an Oni gets his ability, you're screwed unless you and everyone else hide for the entire duration of his ability, since with his flick, being downed is unavoidable. Deathslinger is basically a ranged Spirit, since he can shoot you instantly, giving no reasonable opportunity to avoid his hit.
Even before all of this, the devs said the average kills per game were >2.5.
Been playing for many years, but the direction the game is heading in is pretty unhealthy, especially for solo queue survivors, but that's another issue altogether. Soon killers will be getting free 4ks with no skill required (some already are) - since the opposing side can't reasonably do anything to prevent being downed.

Just because you can't personally counter it doesn't mean it can't be counter for example to avoid doctors shock go into a locker

Not every opinion different from yours is bait.

doctor is trash, he has all the problems he had before rework. You don't know the changes from the PTB. I don't really think you've been playing the game for many years, otherwise you would know better, or maybe you're actually been playing the game for many years, at the point that you think that stuff like go BnP or pallet vacuum were balanced and didn't need a change.
also: "If an Oni gets his ability, you're screwed unless you and everyone else hide for the entire duration of his ability, since with his flick, being downed is unavoidable", you just said a counter play, LMAO (and every other example is pretty pointless to begin with).
