Is there seriously nothing we can do about this?

Killer downs all 4 survivors. Slugs everyone. No DS is active. No one has unbreakable. They wait for us to all bleed out.

No one can leave because of the DC timer. I'd like to just take the death and get on with my next match. Why is this okay?

Don't say "Just run Unbreakable or No Mither" either. You shouldn't have to run a perk to simply be able to play the game.

It’s because some people are a-holes in general and in game.Don’t pay them much attention though there is plenty of others who are genuine.

You shouldn't have to run a perk to play the game? What about running a perk to counter a killer? Or would you prefer the killer to chase you with roses and pink sunglasses?

That aside, it doesn't break any rules as the game will end. It does suck but honestly I can't think of anything reasonable (emphasis on reasonable) to mitigate this happening.

I'm 110% down with a surrender option that doesn't carry a DC penalty; would do wonders for toxic behavior from both teams.

FYI I feel the same way when I get obliterated for whatever reason and open the gates for four healthy survivors and have to sit and wait while they... I guess teabag each other... while I go into a corner to AFK the EGC. I have never once not had the timer run to the very last possible second.

It's not incredibly common but I'd imagine me letting 4 survivors go probably happens more than your whole team getting slugged with nobody running any perks to combat it, so I suppose count your blessings.

It's 4 min max. Less if you had been downed before.

Get up, get a drink, go watch a kitten video, whatever. It's not like you're being oppressed here.

well i feel sorry for you but that's a tactic that make 1-2 survivor perk useless like DS,deliverence,BT (since we know somehow everybody have it now) and it have a lot pressure too

Some people only have specific times they can get some matches in because of work, family, life, etc. Spending 4 minutes wasting your time isn't very fun.

As usual, devs won't risk a daRn at innovating

The solution is simple: add an option to vote for 10 secs for "concede", in the condition that x4 are down, I all x4 agree (press y/n) then the match ends without DC penalty

What would stop a surrender option from being the next DC? It would be almost the exact same thing we had before of people quitting out the instant they didn't like anything that happened.

Got downed too fast? Surrender. Killer someone you don't like? Surrender. Killer attempting to slug for one reason or another? Surrender.

DbD will be EXACTLY like it was before DC punishments was a thing. People quitting out over the slightest thing ending up ruining the gameplay for everyone else.

Look. DC punishments are needed. This community simply isn't able to control itself and forced the devs to add DC punishments. If the devs add in a surrender option, it will for a 100% fact be the new DC and abused as much as possible. That isn't a guess, that isn't my opinion. That WILL happen! Hell. Some people already attempt to bypass the DC punishments in order to still quit out of any game they don't like. Be it just eating the DC punishment, killing themselves on hook ASAP, or going AFK.

Pretty sure you could have it only available when certain conditions are met, it doesn't need to be a minute-one availability. If all the survivors are slugged - oh an option to surrender. If four survivors are alive and uninjured and they're on last gen - ok, I lost gg. There are some pretty established threshholds for not having much of a chance in this game and having the option to forfeit at that point would be nice.

"Is there nothing I can do about this??"

    Wait what if you...

"IM NOT RUNNING PERKS TO COUNTER THIS"

    ... oh... OK.

If not 1 outta ur teams 12 perks is used to counter one of only three possible killer tactics tunnel, slug, afk wraith then idk man that's kinda on you. If its enough to make a post about it obviously happens alot and you already know how to prepare for it... so why are we here ?

Maybe like if you already spent 60 seconds on the ground a surrender option would appear so it’s not abused?

Nah, don't take this away. I like making toxic survivors bleed out on the ground until 1 second left then i hook them. It's very satisfying after winning a tough match vs. toxic teabagging clicky clickys

I see the streamer Lefty do this sometimes when chat redeems channel points for the UnaHoly build, which is slugging with Third Seal/Knock Out/Deerstalker/Infectious Fright and never hooking any survivors. It's pretty fun to watch him do it.
