Why remove the ability to click profiles in post-game chat?
Not sure why devs would do this?
The first thing that came to mind was to stop toxic comments on profiles, but it wouldn't make sense this is the reason because:
- You can be toxic in post-game chat anyway, so why not remove chat instead if the goal is to cut toxicity?
- You can disable comments on your profile/private your profile if comments upset you
Another reason I was told was that it's 'preparing for crossplay'?
But what does that even mean? Surely they can just make it so if their steam account is connected, it opens up and if it isn't it won't open...? Or same for console, if they have a console profile (and you are playing on console), it opens up?
It's a bit sad that I made a lot of friends on this game from adding after the game but now you completely remove the ability to do so (unless they're planning on adding some type of add friend feature...)
I just don't understand why, and I couldn't find any statements about it so I don't know even know the true reason either

It's clearly a bug.

Not really ''clear'', if people were telling me all sorts of things like it's 'preparing for crossplay' but thanks for the input!

You can still click on survivor profiles but only killer profile doesn't work at all

No problem.
Here's a handy rule of thumb: if it's not documented in the patch notes, assume it's a bug. Too many people think stuff like "shadow nerfs/buffs" are a thing when they're really just bugs, which means they don't report them as bugs and they take longer to fix.

Not in my case, since new patch I can only click survivors in pre-game lobby, I can click nobody post-game

Interesting. What platform do you play on?

Well if it is a bug then surely it's good that I posted it to get it noticed? Because others are assuming it's intentional...?
PC/steam

Well, bug reports are supposed to go here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
If you post it there with all the information they request, it'll be noticed.
I also play on Steam, but I can click on survivors' profiles. It's weird.

Post game you have to click via the match details tab

I think they did it because of people posting a thing just a week ago about how they could tell what kind of killers/survivors they were playing against by clicking the profile and then deciding if they wanted to leave the game because they didn't like the matchup. (Ie someone who makes ghostface, etc..) just my thought..

It is on Xbox as well as killer I like to give a gg to everyone win or lose. Hopefully it gets fix soon.
