Unbelievable amounts of griefing on Midwich
I recently played a game with my 3 other friends and were sent to the new map, Midwich elementary school. After completing the first 2 gens and having no sign of the killer, we decide to run around and see if they might be AFK. When entering one of the bathrooms and running up to the second floor, I run into a breakable wall. I realized it was a dead end and turned around and tried to go through the doorway I came. I couldn't get through the door, and then I realized it was a wraith blocking the doorway (you can hear him breathing). I originally thought he had NOED and was going to camp me once the gens were completed. Upon completion of the gens, he didn't uncloak or move in the slightest and continued to block me into the bathroom. I asked my friends if they could search around the map for chests to maybe find a flashlight so we could burn him and I could run past him while he was stunned. We were not blessed with RNG. I then noticed that he brought a scratched coin to lessen our chances. His entire plan was to body block someone and keep me there until endgame killed me. More or less to waste all of our time. Even after the gates were open and the end game timer started, he still didn't budge. I had to wait until end game timer and spent probably 15+ minutes sitting there because he wanted to grief. Below I posted a link to the video I posted showing exactly what I'm talking about. Someone might say "Oh but he could have been AFK the entire time", but no, he wasn't. I wouldn't have been able to get into the bathroom if he was. Extremely annoyed from the entire thing, we all reported him but I'm sure nothing will happen. Couldn't have DC'd either or else I would be penalized for it. Sorry for the rant, but this should 100% be bannable.

Send a support ticket to follow up the report with the video attached, just an in-game won't do anything.

Not bannable, your teammates could complete the game and finish it. Holding the game hostage is only if it is impossible for the game to end based on your actions.

It's definitely bannable cause he was holding the game hostage for you as you couldn't do anything but kind of sit there. It's definitely griefing as some people might say oh well you'll die eventually from egc.

So what is the time limit then? Can i body block for 60 seconds to deal with DS? Is that holding the game hostage? the problem here is the definition. They can take whatever stance they want because it is their game, but i disagree with @Peanits because there is no hard line. Exactly how long am i allowed to body block for? What if its the last gen, and they are about to do it, and i'm waiting for NOED?
Also the context on that post is minimal at best. Did the killer do it after the last gen completed? I'd argue that's a pretty fair time to do it, at that point the game is basically over and it's up to the survivors to end the game. Maybe the survivors 99'd the gates, which would mean that hitting that survivor would result in them escaping.
If BHVR really wants to stop this they need to do it with game design. Make it so the killer can be walked through after they have body blocked someone for X amount of time and not try to enforce arbitrary rules that, unless i read the forums, i have no way of knowing if it is against the rules, because the game physically allows me to do it.

Because the game can still actually end, personally i'd argue the other survivors are holding the game hostage by not completing their objective.

How are you even arguing this? Someone above quoted a dev on body blocking. It's bannable and not allowed until EGC. Even if my post was minimal, the video clearly shows he has no intentions of moving or doing anything but trolling. Edit: Autocorrect

Hah, good luck with that report. Not that I don't want it to be taken seriously, but I sent in my first one ever was 17 days ago I believe, and it's still "open" or whatever.
And it's proof of a hacker if that matters, some pretty cut and dry stuff I would think. Not something that would take 2+ weeks to resolve.

People actaully die from that , that friend is quite disrespectful , also there is a bunch of others saying that they main Lisa Garland who either get tunneled as her or in this case get bodyblocked . I main her and navnt had that case but it seems as though she is being targeted for for trolling

This should be bannable. It might not be holding the game hostage but it is griefing. Stuff like this, although rare it ruins the experience for survivors.

It's kind of funny how people could have lacked any sort of empathy towards your situation and said the exact same thing about your long-winded post where your friends could have 100% ended the game via EGC, yet here you are doing exactly this. Amazing.

So where does this exactly stand with Wraith, as body blocking while invis is a legitimate strat for him. Is this different than facecamping a hooked survivor to death as bubba, which is deemed fair game?

I sort of expect this kind of behavior in the PTB where matchmaking is wildly out of whack than the normal, or shortly after rank reset, but for some reason, I've been getting suicide hook teammates and afk teammates too. I have no idea!

Imagine something as simple as passing by someone or even going thru them when they stay still for too long. They can't sell it as DLC tho...oh wait maybe as a perk to bandaid the broken game??

Not really, it's a matter of terms. Why is it bannable.
Is it holding the game hostage? I'd argue not, because the game can still actually finish.
Is it griefing because it sucks when it happens? Probably, but then so does camping and tunneling.
You can't make up these terms and have it both ways, it needs to have a hard definition, a hard time limit.
And the worst part is, unless i read the forums, i can't know it's "against the rules" the game is physically allowing me to do it, so as far as the average player knows, it is part of the game, and a legitimate tactic. Just as camping/tunneling is. If they want to remove it, they should make it not possible via game design, only allow body blocking for a small amount of time, then remove collision and allow the survivor to walk through the killer.

So he used EGC to kill you, what's the BFD? In the end he loses more than you but "trapping" and killing you is what he wanted out of this particular match. And Killer gets to set the tone. Perks of it being 4 v 1.

Another problem in the map is those weird "Alcove" things in the hallways made up of lockers or whatever.
You can hide in them from the killer. That's fine and dandy, the problem is if a survivor/killer decides to bodyblock you in there there's no way out.

This is the exact reason I believe that devs need to implement a '5+ seconds of being run into = no collision for a moment' mechanic

I understand what he’s saying, I’ve been in that situation before. My team did the gens and left so the EGC killed me. I have nooo clue why this dude was there over 15 minutes what in the world was his team doing?
Killer wasn’t holding the game hostage, he was being a scumbag but no he wasn’t holding the game hostage. The rest of the team could have pushed gens and left especially considering gens already got done before this “trapping grieving,” even started
