Is this intentional? (Pyramid Head lunge through pallets)

I was just wondering if this was intentional or not. In my experience against other Killers, those pallet-throwdowns would have kept me from getting injured, but it seems that PH's weapon continues the swing even after he gets hit with the pallet, resulting in an injury (for both parties, haha). Especially on the one clip, where he is a good distance away when he lunges and it reaches through the pallet and hits me anyway. (Also, the other clip looks like I delayed throwing down the pallet, but that wasn't the case -- and my ping was perfectly acceptable in the lobby as well as in-game, so I don't think that was the issue. I could be wrong, however)
I could definitely be wrong, but it just feels like a bug to me. Especially when I play Killers like Wraith and Legion and get hit with pallets that I try to swing through, without injuring the Survivor (not saying I want that at all, of course!). It feels like PH can swing through any pallet and land a hit no matter what. I feel like his animations don't properly cancel on pallet stun, and his weapon range could possibly be further than other Killers due to a bug.

I think this is a bug with all killers cause its been happening to me a lot recently

Looks like lag probably, on the killer's side he probably clearly hit you before the pallet went down. Look at the way the killer jitters around and such.

I understand, but I really wasn't feeling lag the entire game and I definitely know when I'm lagging! It could have been a random spike, but I feel like that is unlikely since I rarely have that happen, and normally the little dial will appear in the upper left-hand corner when it does.
Also, it might look a little jittery because it's a 25 FPS gif.... 😓

It’s working as designed. When 2 actions occur within a short amount of time of each other, both actions are allowed to occur. The amount of time is typically, Killer latency + Survivor latency + Server latency, and there might be additional padding as well.
