It's me and I'm not a girl. That place just scares the ######### out of me. The toilets seemed like the appropriate spot to be.
(I have no idea who it is.)

In the movie, it was Alessa from a flashback.

I'm pretty sure it was never revealed in the games, you're probably just supposed to assume it's a ghost or Spirit

The game never stated fully. It was suggested that is was a memory of Alessa's time at school. Maybe where she hid from the bullies and cried in private. The nightmare world in the first game was createdbout of her own experiences, so that crying girl is most probably her.

well, didn’t they have a heavily dark scene in that bathroom with perv janitor? I thought it was a reference to that movie scene but In old and forgetful.
The bugs were also in the scene

IMO, Shattered Memories had the single greatest horror game mechanic of all time. Essentially, the game kept a psychological profile about you (the player), based on a questionnaire you answered at the start, the way you played, and even what you spent time looking at (admiring). Then it used that to change the enemies' appearance and tactics, to become suited to your particular psychological profile. If that had been well-developed and placed in other horror games, it would've been incredible.
The only game that even comes close to this, as far as I know, is a very old FPS game called SiN, wherein enemies adapted to your play style and forced you to change strategies. If you liked to blow up explosive barrels/tanks, they would avoid them. If you went for headshots, they wore helmets. If you went for body shots, they wore armor.

Nice, I like games that analyze the player.

It's unfortunate that there are so few of them. Many games are hand-crafted with care to give the exact experience the developers want, sure, but games like that have almost endless replayability because the gameplay itself changes depending on what you do.

It’s Alyssa. He was molested by the school’s janitor and bullied by the teachers and students.

It’s Alessa that cries in the bathroom. I’m so happy they put Easter eggs in this. The RPT’s Add Ons are so awesome. Gotta love the references!
