Survivor Meta shift?
So what are meta perks atm?
DS
Adrenaline
BT
Well make it
Iron Will
Self care
Unbreakable.
So im playing Pyramid Head only since he came out and I just love it.
People run BT Adrenaline DS and selfcare for example. At the end of the game they were able to use 1 out of 4 perks.
Usually I have like 2 DS in my lobby and I would say at least 5 perks per game will never activate. thats a fourth of all theire perks.
Do you think Pyramid head will shift the meta because he makes some perks unusable?

Not using a Perk because 1 Killer can deny it?
I mean, it'll suck if you do run into the one, but you'll miss out on them if you don't equip them and face the other Killers.

Nah, it wont. Not because of 1 Killer. He is just a Tunnelers Wetdream, basically the worst design since Legion.

Survivor meta has remained pretty much unchanged for 4 years and counting, it's always been about second-chance/self-sustain perks.
We'll Make It might be the biggest change to the meta since the game came out because, for once, it's a perk that actively helps someone else and only passively helps you.
I have no doubt that the Executioner won't change the meta in any significant way, if at all.

I think ph gets nerfed before that happens actually. And also it's just one killer of many

It's the same meta we've had for literally years. One killer isn't changing that. Stack all the second chance perks and there you have it.

Plague didn’t really cause anyone to drop adrenaline out of their builds. So I’m guessing no

it sucked for so many people for this week when everyone was playing pyramid head cause he was brand new and pretty much renders all hooking perks useless, but very soon the natural mix of killers will come back, since PH is the only one that can knock out quite a few of them, I’d say nothing will change.

Theres a handful of killers that hard counter OoO, that hasnt stopped people from running it. So id say no.
The bigger shift in the meta is survivirs are splitting up to do gens more often, which is an extremely difficult strat to counter.

I didnt mentoin more then SB, just took a quick thought whats meta and forgot something. of course SB is meta. DH too

I don't see that many survivor split up on generators yet. They still go for the coop bloodpoints. Gens still go fast though.
The day when survivor will discover the true power of gen splitting ala Depip-squad is the day when this game will die, because no one will be playing killer anymore.-
