When are event cakes gonna get fixed??
It’s been like two days and the cakes still aren’t fixed. If they’re not gonna fix them then can we at least have a double bp event please behavior

I thought it would only take a few hours, it seems like a simple thing to fix but I’m not a game dev so I wouldn’t know. It does seem a little ridiculous that we haven’t even had an update yet though, since the cakes are one of the main parts of the event.

I am a little bit shocked. Why does it take so long to fix it or state an update about it or disable the item at least.
What are they doing during their work hours ? I wonder....
What kind of compensation will we get ? Will they extend the event ?

Couldn't they just reuse the code from the 103% offering and change the numbers to match 104%?

It is a religious holiday in Quebec so no updates for us evil horror genre game players, Devs took yesterday off to celebrate John the Baptist.

my guess is it will be fixed by the middle of the event, they are letting the 140% thing to go for 1 week.

Tbh for solo players / killers it's better to use them now since we are getting 140% not 104%.
Yeah the other players dont get the boost but it's no big deal. It's a jacked up escape cake not a party streamer is all.

You don't have to. Using them now grants you the 140 % BP Boost. Objectively better than using it later, at least for the person playing it. Of course not the best for all players in a match to burn them now.

they even ddnt do any roadmap because they didnt complete the things of last year's and they always delayed everything and cancelled some events

It came to me yesterdy that the current situation with the event cakes is a perfect prisoners dilemma situation.
If we all keep the cakes until they are fixed, we will get the most outcome of it due to the stacking bonus. But, since it grants 140% instead fo 104% currently, we could be incetived to use it now and gain more BP than we would get in the fixed state (without stacking bonus). If we all think that way and all waste our cakes before it's fixed, we'll all will get more BP indivdually, but no stacking bonus at all, leaving us at the worst possible outcome (least BP). Really fascinating situation right now :).

Right, the best outcome individually is if you use all your cakes now for 140% but your teammates And killers all save them for afterwards to give you their bonuses and you use escape cake at that point lol

I can understand this for PC since they can just push updates on it very easily through Steam.
But the console versions have to go through processes to get their updates, doesn't that include hotfixes such as fixing an event offering?

I use the cakes so i can buy more cakes and i always stay net positive or net neutral on cakes so thats the best choice imo

This scenario is a tricky one but I like what Addict does and I try that too. If we all use our own offerings now for 140% personal and immediately pump it back into blood webs then we MAY all have more to use together whenever it gets fixed.
They don’t “shut off,” when the event is over so in theory all players could have tons of these things to stack for 500% bonuses as soon as the next chapter comes out. If I played with friend that’s what I would do.
As is in hoarding them on my killers to use after next killer comes out.
