Depends on the rank. I haven't been a low rank in a very long time, but at higher ranks totally. Absolutely. It gets quite hard to pip at red ranks actually. If I am not optimizing my time at red ranks I am going to certainly get swomped and inevitably depip.
To be more technical though, killers lose devout points if they are within 32 meters of hooked survivors. The longer they are in that range, the worse penalty.

Depends entirely on what they did prior to being hooked. It's entirely possible to die in 1 hook and still pip or safety. But more often than not they'll depip or safety.

I'm familiar, i'm just tired of depipping, I made it to rank 10 and now i'm just getting steamrolled, if i'm going to depip might as well have a laugh.

Only early purple to grey rank killer face camp, those pro camper become smart and develop the enhance method depend on 32 meters. I met a lot on XX server. Half of the rank 1 killers stand away from hook around 32 meters and using ghostface or huntress to camp. BT perks not activated since not in killer terror radius. Once they tunnelling the one who can loop their rank drop to rank 2.

You brimg a key, OoO or decide to tbag while im playing bubba youre getting face camped. And ill still 4k safety. People that hit r1 every season dont care about pips
