I was playing as killer, nurse, and found a team of 4 newbies. I'm not a pro nurse, but they were absolutely green.

I downed 2 of them in less than a minute, and sacrificed 2 of them before a single gen was done. Then i hooked the 3rd and the last survivor was trying to save his partner, but i downed him

I felt so bad that i took him and lead him for a tour around the map to do every single pallet stun, gen, totem and so. I closed the hatch and let him power the gates. Then downed him and allowed him to crawl away.

After match ( a solid +2 pip) i saw i got barely 17k bp. He did almost 30k. WTH?????

I feel like i won't be so kind ever again 😂

So, what's your story? Did you feel good after that?

Poor guy. I have no idea which rank were them, because on mobile i can't see rank after match. Hope they get this feature soon.

(Can't explain how good it feels to pull some precise blinks on mobile. Framerate is #########, it microfreezes often and field of view is awful)

Since anniversary began I've let dozens escape with crown sparklies and I've only hunted licensed Survies and now those who have crown on them as well. Ive had so many Survivors catch onto this and bow out as they leave. Glad I helped so many enjoy the 4 year event. :3

I was up against 4 red rank survivors. I was using tampered timer and Rule Set 2. Two survivors exited before they got a second generator done. The last two had crowns though, so I decided I'd let them go. So I took them to a generator, got them to work on it. They seemed pretty thankful. Survivors usually are when you show them mercy. At least in my experience.

I also let pretty much anyone with No Mither go when the no mither challenge was active.

I was playing Bubba and doing fairly well. I'm talking insta-downies left and right. Don't even need to M1, these suckers are so cocky they will lay down their lives to save a pallet.

Anyway, with 3 gens to go, it's looking pretty grim. For them. Kate just missed her flashlight save and then messed up the TL loop with a slow vault. I've got 2 on the hook and two crouching numbnuts with tails between their legs. David, the poor thing, failed a skill check and shortly I was breathing down his neck. That was his last hook and the other two were dead too. I couldn't believe I won so quickly, I didn't even get to use my NOED...

This leaves an urban-evading locker-hopping Meghead. I 'pretended' to not look for the hatch as she escaped faster than you can say "nerf billy".

Then I complained about the hatch mechanic a little in the post-game chat and left without saying gg.

I posted this elsewhere a few days ago, pardon the repeat if you've seen it already.

In the new Silent Hill Map, in one of the main hallways there was the hatch. I (the killer) see the last remaining survivor, Cheryl, at the other end of this hallway, we're both at an equal distance from the hatch, we stop for a moment realising the situation, it was like a wild west showdown at high noon.

After a moment's pause we both break running towards the hatch! Who will get there first! Just as we were both about to reach it, Cheryl uses Dead Hard and dashes forward, jumping right in...

...into the f&%^$£@ locker next to the hatch.

I was going to close the hatch while this poor man was in the locker for a moment, probably cursing this game. But then I stopped myself, stared at the lockers and tought... nah, go ahead, you're alright, I won't deny you this. Cheryl jumps out of her locker and right into the hatch...

"Did you intended to do that mate?" I ask in chat.

"HAHAHAHA, NO! THAT F@%&**^$ locker man! THANKS SO MUCH!

Felt nice, as he was struggling through the match.

I played a game last night versus a Freddy who had all of us dead to rights. He played really well and sacrificed two survivors, but he let me and the other survivor not only escape with crowns, but we all worked together to farm bloodpoints. I gave him a well-deserved thumbs up as I really appreciated him letting me leave with a crown.

While it is not necessary nor is it expected, it is certainly a welcome surprise to see killers and survivors playing nice during these events.

I was playing Pyramid Head and a survivor made a mistake, causing them to lose as I hit both survivors and downed them both, I final judgement’d Yui, the one who let the Bunny die not realizing that Pyramid can multi hit most likely, and let the bunny live

I assume it was the Yui that yelled at me because I spared 1 survivor and she said I lost because I killed 3 people and not 4.

Lmfao the same thing that happened to that Cheryl also happened to me. Except instead of it being a locker by the hatch, it was a window. Unfortunately the killer I had wasn’t as merciful as you & killed me.

During last year's anniversary event when ppl were getting the 103% cakes I got into a game where 4 event cakes got used. I figured id be nice and aim to 2 hook everyone and let em all get out. I wasnt gonna be boring and just watch em do gens, but anyone who was on deathhook...id just slug and let one of their teammates pick em up after I left rather than hook and kill em. This match went on for AWHILE until eventually I had to stop slugging ppl because they were gonna bleed out, lol. For one guy though...I either miscounted the hooks or he hit stage 2 on his first hook without me noticing, cuz I accidently killed him. This was the endgame chat...

Happened today. I was playing hag (first time playing killer in a month) And I obliterated the survivors. The last one alive just looked at me all pathetically. I let her go lol.

Since the event started, I've been letting almost everyone go(Killing anyone who's toxic or wants to die) so they can get crowns. I've deranked all the way to rank 9. Don't know how much further I'll drop by the time the event ends.

    Pretty normal story for me.

I haven't devoted THAT much time to killer, so I'm kinda towards the lower ranks with my highest ever being Rank 8 before the Ruin rework. Gonna play a lot more killer now in stream. I'm not great, but I'm no potato.

Whenever I've had early DC's or hook suicides, I'll usually let the last one (or the nicest, who I'll try to keep alive) have the hatch as kind of a "Sorry your team suck, I'm not going to punish you for it".

Long story short, a Claudette who was pretty good had bad Solo Q teammates and I gave her hatch.

Also she was a Rank 7 while the other teammates were at least Rank 5. So that just proves how much ranks matter. :)

    Two recent Nurse games:

First one didn't really go my way, but I'm playing Nurse so I go in expecting that. However, there's this one Laurie I just keep running into. I think she was even the only one I ultimately hooked that match. I try not to be a tunneler, it's the one thing I hate running into so I try not to inflict it on the people I play against. However, I'm not so nice I won't at least down someone for the pressure. However, I end up Lethal Blinking Laurie after she got off her second hook in the basement. At that point, I'm like "Whoops." and let her get picked up. The survivors all escaped, but at the end Laurie thanked me for not third-hooking her.

Another game, also involving me playing Nurse and also a Laurie. In this case, the Laurie was probably the one who gave me the best chase of the bunch. I had killed everyone else, leaving Laurie the last one. We're in a chase that, by sheer happenstance since we started nowhere near it, ends with me downing her within hearing distance to the hatch. I hadn't planned on it, but I figured "Ok, what the hell" and dropped her off by it so she could get out.

In general, I play Killer for points more than anything, so I don't mind letting Survivors escape more often than not so they can have their own 5k Survival points. Especially if a Bloody Party Streamers is in the mix. This attitude once got me called the nicest Ghost Face ever.

I feel the same way. When I see their teammates sacrifice on the hook or disconnect I really hate killing everyone out right, especially the lone survivor after being matched with worthless teammates.

Tonight I played a match as Bubba and went against a swf team that ranged everywhere from a rank 1 to a rank 11(yay matchmaking 😕), and I could have gotten the 4K, but the last person left alive was trying to get a crown so I let her keep it, and I then had her follow me to the hatch and I let her escape.

Twice yesterday i got put against potatos. Im talking game was over and no gens had been done. Both times i backed off, let them reciver then played normal. Killed 2 then let the other 2 do 5 gens, get crowns, slap me with pallets and leave.

Most recent major "nice killer" story I have.

Load into a game as Legion on Family Residence.

Find a Feng, stab her and see no one else on Killer Instinct, so keep chasing Feng after cancelling power. Feng finds the crown, stops running to grab it, I down her and hook her. She immediately suicides.

Keep patrolling, find a blatantly afk guy. Leave him until he gets crows, then hook him to stop the crows. He never returns, gets saved once, gets crows back, I hook him and he's dead.

At this point one gen is done and it's a 1v2. It was just when the event started so the Kate and Meg both clearly wanted their crowns, so I took pity on them and farmed with them. They let me have two hooks on them each, and ultimately the game was over. They thanked me for not just ending the game and letting them get the crowns, and we all went on our way having had a positive interaction on this game that is so often full of salt.

I have mercy quite a bit if I am just dunking on them, or if they get a suicide or dc early. Only rarely will I give mercy for special circumstances, so I will tell that story.

Was playing huntress on sanctum of wrath, which is like having a pine cone shoved up the back door. Had three absolute potatoes and this one really strong survivor. He wasn't using b.s. tactics, just flat out playing me.

I quickly massacred his team, 3 gens left, it was a hatch game. He ran me for a good 5 or 6 minutes around a jungle gym, before I finally downed him with a sketchy hitbox.

I gave him hatch. In post game, he couldnt believe that I let him go, since most killers would be tilted after the chase he led me on. I respect quality play without using the many survivor crutches, and he deserved the escape, so I gave mercy.

When I'm playing The Pig, I spare Detective Tapps. If it's more than one of them? No problem! I'll decide on your life with a coin toss. When I first did it, this David was so mad! He was like "WHY DID YOU LET HIM LEAVE AND NOT ME?" and I told him my theme and he found it hilarious. He was like "Oooooooh just like the movies! GG". I also tend to spare Claudettes but that's out of my own bias and fondness of the character.

I think my best story though was when I was playing against a group of people, I think they were noobs? I held back on purpose and two of them escaped, they were so proud of themselves and of course I rooted them on post match as well. I was having a rough day so seeing how happy they were made my night.
