I swear the hatch doesn't spawn sometimes

Was just playing killer and got it down to 2 survivors left. I searched the whole map before committing to killing the third survivor so I could find the hatch. They had 3 gens done so it should have spawned. This seems to happen from time to time.

I was PH and it was an autohaven map. Not sure the same because I can't remember when a realm has several maps. There's nothing memorable about the map except I think the killer shack is always dead center.

    I've had the same happen to me from both sides. One time had a Mike try to give me the hatch but after literally carrying me around the map like 3 times gave up because he couldn't find it. I've done the same with survivors - tried to give someone the hatch but couldn't find it and just hooked them and felt bad about it. These were both when there was only one survivor left so it should have spawned and been open, and I wondered if I was just bad at finding or if it really wasn't there.

    Had a game one time where a Hag decided to give me hatch. She carried me around for 5 minutes before she dropped me and we both spent another 5 minutes searching. By the end I didn't care if I escaped. I just wanted to know where the damn thing was.

    Glad I'm not the only one lol. It sucks that there's really no way to know for sure it didn't spawn.
