Is this normal?
Hey, I started playing the game this week. For the most part I think the game is excellent, but sometimes I get into a match and its just awful. This was the most egregious example however.
Is the match making in this game really this broken? A new player at rank 16 against two rank 1's, a 3 and a 9. Its really disappointing as the game is superb when you get a good match up, win or lose.

Unfortunately the current matchmaking system has been broken for a while now. There's a new system in the works that we should be seeing soon.

Yea unfortunately mate this can happen. I'd say as much as I love leatherface he shouldn't be the killer you start learning. Hillbilly and Wraith are a lot more friendly for new players to learn.

Par for the course, I'm affraid! They're working on a fix with new match-making, but it's unknown when this will become readily available. It won't be based on rank though.

Thank you, I shall try those aswell. I also have pyramid head and having more success with him, although I keep getting told off for playing him, told off for using a certain perk, told off for not completely leaving a hook. Its exhausting in what is a terrific game apart from that. I shall check out your guide aswell, nice one.

No problem mate. What perk you getting told off for? Btw put torment down in the middle of loops, sometimes players try and avoid it. Also his ability isn't great unless your virtuall guaranteed a hit so fake it a few times to people won't vault windows or drop pallets.

Your at a low rank since your new so that's probably why lol they cry over anything
