How do people find survivor fun?
I have been playing a lot of survivor recently, and I can't bring myself to have fun while playing it. You can either, hold interact on generators for a while, or run in circles with the killer or wait for someone to save you or heal you. How do people even find it fun?

Yeah, but running the killer is also extremely uninteractive unless you are at a jungle gym, which a lot of maps don't have.

You just chase survivors and kick gens

The thing that makes killer kind of fun, is that there are a lot of different powers for the killers and playstyles, while all survivors are the same. Maybe since I solo queue I don't have as much fun.

Personally its not as fun as killer, but playing survivor is a lot less stressful. each side has upsides and downsides. While killer is more exiting and entertaining is is quite stressful. At the same time survivor is not as action packed as killer is but is less stressful than killer is.

yeah, the only times I play survivor are when I'm stressed as killer, or for archive challenges.

While yes all survivor's are the same theres still many diffrent playstyles
I personally enjoy solo q more then swf

But there are different playstyles for survivor as well, some via the archives. I'm not normally overly altruistic, and right now I'm working on safely unhooking 12 different people. I find a challenge in this, as i normally kinda hate doing this.

That's how survivors make us feel when they gen rush us to death, even if we use all of the game delay perks.

If being chased is the most fun a survivor has, being tunneled means thats all youre doing is being chased. Using this logic being chased should be the most fun a survivor can have.
Overall Point: being chased isnt the most fun. The most fun is being chased when youre in position to punish the killer.

Playing with friends help a lot. Also.. I think you are over simplifying the gameplay loop... hehehe
I still feel being chased is the most fun you can have in the game, specially when you learn how to loop decently. When you escape a match just by a hair! damn, that's cool.. and if you're with friends it's even more enjoyable.

As survivor you actually have to play against those many different powers, which may alter the playstyle immensely.
also not being a pro looper kind of helps me because while I can have fun chases that may even last long enough, I am not in a position where the killer is no threat for me (and neither are my always changing teammates in solo q). If it was as terrible as the forums make it out to be, I wouldn’t ply either role. Ever.

I agree with most of what you said, but most of the time, I can't even face half the killers in the roster. Right now, all I see is Billy, spirit, huntress and pyramid head over and over.

Yeah, that is a problem and can make the game pretty stale. But I do get a good variety of killers! There are surely more of those you listed but I guess I do see pretty much very killer once in a while!

because you can totally dominate killers after only 20-30 hours of playtime.

Playing with friends. Survivor is chill like cod zombies so you can chat and play easily. Meme builds are also pretty fun.

Yeah its so much fun playing survivor. You always have perfectly matched teammates, that always safe unhook, do gens, do totems, heal others, take hits, make saves, and dont waste pallets. Also you always have perfectly fair playing killers with fair builds, addons and offerings. And there is no lag nor latency. Or not. LOL

I usually enjoy survivor because it's very intense.
I don't enjoy survivor right now though because every single game I've played since two days ago has been only leatherfaces. I hate leatherface.
