Did the Killer have the Perk "Stridor"? Stridor counters Iron Will, you will make sounds with 50% volume. Mostly run by Spirits.
My Iron Will works just fine.

Sorry if it was mentioned, but anyone else have an issue with Iron Will?
Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.

Counters, as in completely negate Iron Will? Well ######### I actually never knew that. Recently came back from a hiatus missed a few chapters.
Interesting, that has to be it then.

EDIT Actually I forgot, thats a Nurse perk. It really negates it? Would make sense. 100% noise reduction IW. 150% Due to Stridor. 50% remaining. Never used Stridor, never tried with Spirit or just played Spirit in general. Again, good to know.

Yeah, its kinda stupid. You hear often that Iron Will is the counter against Spirit (which is not the case), but they can counter (and really counter) it with Stridor.
But it is still one of the best (IMO the best) Survivor Perk.

Stridor does negate Iron Will but it still has some effect, your grunts will be slighter lower than if you werent using it.
Rank 3 Iron Will against rank 2/3 Stridor is the same as running Rank 1 Iron Will.
