Another FNAF campaign..
Maybe I'm too old to understand horror.... But growing up playing games such as RE, silent hill, forbidden siren, clock tower, alone in the dark... FNAF seems aimed at high schoolers but there seems to be alot of people who would love it to make its way to DBD... So am I truly missing something or should I start wearing cardigans in July and finally accept I've turned intoy dad?

The game itself is a bit childish in nature, but the more and characters (especially Springtrap) would work for dbd. William Afton(Springtrap) was a serial murderer who hid in a springlock suit to escape the ghosts of the children he murdered. The suit then froze up and crushed him and now he came back to life with murderous intent.
I haven't been updated to much on the lore as of late but last I checked that was the story of him and I think (if done right) it could be scary af

tbh Springtrap would fit more than the Demogorgon imo, they even have the same target demographic in the present day (teenagers and up). i'd like Springtrap over the Demogorgon to be completely honest, a rotting mascot suit which colors already sort of fit the color palettes of the game, as well as possible organs moving and beating passively in his design? sign me up.
i'm really only familiar with FNaF and don't really like the early games that much (but their latest release of Help Wanted VR was fantastic), but Springtrap would totally fit as long as other animatronics and survivors aren't included. a paragraph killer of Springtrap would be cool to add to the game.

Demogorgan was a massive for the marketing for both parties so could see why that was in the game, DBD marketing side of the development are pretty spot on with all they have done so far

Thing is, those will be really difficult to obtain over FNaF. If the time comes to add another licensed character and they can't get those characters, I'd be 100% down for Springtrap (and I heard the license is incredibly easy to obtain). To be honest, certain ones high up in popularity I wouldn't really want over Springtrap. Springtrap just has this own really cool variety of creepiness that would add well to the killer roster.

When i think of DBD i think of like middle schoolers
Pennywise, Pinhead and Jason are all constantly being worked on from what i understand. Jason got caught up by legal, Pennywise said no, and they said they wanted Pinhead. With Candyman almost 100% coming i think it's possible we'll see his brother next. Chucky i don't know about because the devs said "oh he can't reach the hook" but they could literally just give him something else. When it comes to anything else, like candyman or stranger things, it's just happens when the opportunity pops up.
What im saying is if we waited for the last icons to be added we would only be getting original chapters

Ye im not gonna lie, i've never played the fnaf games nor have i read any of its lore. It all just seems super boring and childish, i can't understand how anyone can find fnaf scary but maybe thats just cuz i grew up with actual horror icons like ghostface michael leatherface etc. If anyone can explain whats scary about fnaf feel free but it just looks like a game for kids to me

Yeah that's how I feel,I have nothing against a Fnaf Springtrap killer but they should at least do the legend's first.Theres Candyman,Carrie,Pinhead, Pennywise, Charles Lee Ray & Tiffany Ray Valentine (human forms)
there's could be a video game list we don't know about, someone like Nemesis or whatever monster rezy fan's want.
Then there's female license's we still haven't even thought about

Oof I've heard.The Hellraiser franchise is the newest victim but on this one, I'm completely behind the artist. Clive Barker created Hellraiser and the red letter gospels, if the series stands a chance for redemption that's it's best bet maybe, I'm sure there are other upcoming and great writers out there but he knows his monster he knows what needs to be written. I'm just hoping this doesn't effect DBD from getting Hellraiser.
