What is the plan for the jump to next gen consoles?
Yes, Im aware that 90% of the community is PC, and dont really care about console problems, but I have all my time sunk into my Ps4 account, and only play DBD on my laptop when Im travelling.
So, is cross progression going to be implemented before this?

As for the Xbox that further complicates things because all games from previous Xbox generations are supposed to be playable on the new one.

I meant for previous generations. I always wanted to dust off my old copy of MW2 and play online again, but alas, PS4 does not have backwards compatibility.

Chances are there wont be any changes at all. You're game progression isnt saved on your PS4, its saved online through your playstation account. Using that same account on your PS5 SHOULD be all you need to do to use the same stuff.
