Is monitor and abuse a good perk for Freddy?

Once you start hearing the lullaby and not the heartbeat, is monitor and abuse even worth having on Freddy?

Nah I wouldn't bother. It only affects them when awake, the lullaby like with huntress can't be altered

Yeah I was afraid of that. I was running it with my Freddy, but it slowly dawned on me that it's probably a worthless perk once the survivors are asleep. I'll probably run Overcharge which would be a nice combo with PGTW. So my build would be overcharged, BBQ, PGTW, and discordance.

It's not terrible if you have a pill bottle. It means you are invisible and silent to awake survivors at 24m and beyond; and by the time you are within vision range you are only a few seconds out from an attack.

Good survivors will be waking themselves up as much as they can can, and getting an easier M1 to put them asleep in the first place can be very nice.

Freddy is strong enough with his meta build of corrupt, pop, BBQ/thrilling, that he can afford to run whatever he wants for the 4th slot in my opinion. So give it a shot, it will be way more useful than overcharge with a pill bottle. All the good survivors can hit DS, which means they will almost always hit overcharge too.

Thats a good build. Really that overcharge slot can be just about anything so try out a few things till you find something that really suits you. Even a hex perk like devour hope cause if it gets broke so what.
