Pyramid head
It seems a little unfair that pyramid heads cage counts as a hook state but not of the perks that go against hooking like deliverance and decisive work on it, in my opinion it should take 3 cages and 3 hooks to kill a survivor if this is so

But ya now devs are kinda braindead

If it took 3 cages and hooks there would literally never be a point to using his power. Why would you waste time caging someone for the first time if you've already hooked them?

I swear the people who think cages are some amazing tool for PH / are complete BS for survivors have not only not played as PH, they don't have much of a concept of how killer is played in general.

Um let’s see I bought the dlc, played as pyramid head and even I think he’s a little overpowered, I played him for 5 days, they are amazing cause they counter, flashlights, DS, deliverance, borrowed time need I go on?

Please do.

No it would make it fair cause nothing can counter the cages either make it so deliverance and ds and perks like that work with the cages or make it so he needs to cage someone 3 times

To avoid flashlights, DS borrowed time etc all the perks killer B1tch about

Cages are practically an instant save against teams with more than 4 brain cells. This would be such an unnecessary nerf and would make Pyramid Head one of the worst killers in the game. Cages send you to the other side of the map, usually allowing a free save, and letting you heal/get back on gens faster than if your team had to run to where you are on the hook, not to mention more dangerous as the killer would still be relatively nearby. Cages are extremely situational, and the only people using Cages for every single hook state are the people who don't know how to play Pyramid Head effectively. Cages are the worst aspect of his power, and using only Cages hurts him more than it helps him.
Not to mention if they made this change they would have to make perks relating to hooks work for killers too. That means Devour Hope, BBQ, PGTW, ect. You can't just have only survivor or killer hook perks work on Cages, that either makes him too strong or too weak and shows clear bias towards one side, something Devs obviously don't want.

This would make the Cages absolutely worthless, and make him basically a worse version of Demogorgon without map pressure.

Bruh Id rather this

Ah yes so adapt to being absolutely powerless to the cages, found the person missing a brain cell

Also I don’t think you read what he said, he made a fair point I’m fine with all hook perks for survivor and killer working with the cages cause that’s actually fair rather than him have a cage which counts as a hook strength with nothing to do but sit and wait

“Just get good” found the killer main

When you’re in the cage, you can’t attempt to escape, you don’t get any protection from him proxying the cage, and he could down you once more right out of the cage and hook you and then boom the next hook stage

I actually asked for a rework maybe if you paid attention and ya know used the brain god gave ya maybe you would actually know what you’re talking about, and also what does removing the aura do there’s still nothing to counter the cage if it’s gonna count as a hook state might as well make all hook perks work with it

Cages have unhook immunity/free borrowed time just like hooks. Also they spawn on the other side of the map and near other survivors. Easiest insta-unhooks in the history of Dead By Daylight and you're still complaining.
Actually play Pyramid Head against ANY 5000+ hours SWF team. See what happens (no matter how good you are).
His cages allow for easy insta-unhooks denying any sort of pressure. You get no BBQ auras, no Pop Goes The Weasel, no possible chase around the hook leading to more pressure and quick multiple hits etc.
His cages counter himself more than they do counter survivors. Personally I never get teammates that run Borrowed Time AND I never run Decisive. I still escape even against tunnelers and so far only 2 Pyramid Heads have ever managed to kill me.
Very op indeed. Killers shouldn't be able to kill survivors. That would be balanced.

Idk what you play on it may be different on pc but on console it’s a whole nother story

Honestly I feel pyramid head is in a pretty good spot right now not overpowered but also not garbage.

I don't understand why you feel powerless in cages. You seem to believe that it's because DS and other survivor hook related perks don't work with them. But that is the same limitation on the PH as well. Cages are only strong if you save them for Final Judgement. And even then you still have 2 hooks to use your perks.
And let's say he somehow manages to use trail and afflict a survivor every chase and cages every single time. That's still plenty of opportunities to save and leave the area across the map from PH before he can get there.
Yes it feels bad to get tunneled to death by PH but he's also losing out if your team plays smart in that strategy. There is plenty of counterplay.
Now if he got hook perks from cages you'd have something. But he doesn't.

Man what a great point, I just don't hook the person and I avoid flashlights, DS borrowed time, I cage them but it's basically the same as giving the survivor a free escape unless the survivors wait 2 minutes before rescuing him from the cage, 200 IQ.

wanna know how to counter cages..HMM its easy ''DON'T WALK IN TORMENT''

Ok if we are doing this change then Lets make his range attack a one shot to compensate this big nerf.
Seems fair

Every killers excuse XD “just don’t walk in it” kinda hard when he traps a pallet

So it’s a big nerf, even though he has a built in Mori?

I play both sides equally, actually more so survivor as of late since the sound bugs but when everything is fine I play completely equal, also you do seem to be the type of survivor main that complains about every killer being "OP" because you like the game to be super easy with no challenge on survivor side.

You sir, need to play killer into the red ranks, than come back to us and tell me if you think he's still op.
0 -
Oh don’t get me wrong I play killer more then survivor, and I’ve gotten red rank survivors, the ones I get are super altruistic and toxic, so I just bring a mori and send them straight to hell

Pyramid Head is strong but his cages aren't as good as they used to be. You used to be able to bait them and good Pyramid Heads still do use them as bait if you know they spawn on the opposite side of the map. This change would be absolutely stupid because his cages would have 0 point. Good survivors do something called avoiding the trails which reduces you to nothing. The best use of him in his current state is either run infectious fright and hook->cage->hook or run BBQ or hook related perks do hook->hook->final judgment. Your change is completely unfounded and you really should watch rank 1 killer gameplay or actually play at red ranks as killer before posting something like this.

The survivor is transported across the map as well as not being seen by the killer at all until they are rescued.
Sure, hook related perks don't on cages, but thats fair because the killer is blind to your presence. Cages are very optional to PH, and it saves him alot of time using a cage rather than a hook. The tradeoff you folks don't mention, is that PH too can't use hook perks like PGTW for example. Cages are a double edged sword for the killer and the survivor, but nope, Killer bad survivor good.
