I hate noed like if u go up aganst a killer who camps, tunnels, u name it and u manage to get all gens done (at the cost of ur friend because they ran the killer the whole game) and your at the exit gate about to escape but nope noed just deletes all ur time and effort and the thing that annoys me the most If the perk noed gets a speed boost like why surely you should be slower for using the perk and overall its broken and everyone hates it yet the devs do absolutely nothing about it

Except in the situation the OP just mentioned, where the Killer camps survivors on hooks. If you do totems, every single one of the teams dies to a camping killer. If you rush gens, the camping killer uses NOED to get the last 2 survivors. Otzdarva did a full day streaming in which he proxy camped, tunneled and NOED and he won game after game after game. Survivors couldn't do anything against it. So yes, there literally isn't a counter for it which was proven by Otzdarva.

Don't bring up Noed without bringing up DS.
Don't bring up Moris without bringing up Keys.
All 4 are bad for the game, but fixing one without dealing with the other will result in some worse balancing issues.

You made the point I was going to make. Everyone knows camping killer equals rush the gens. Which means you won't have time to rush them and do totems. At the very least that killer walks away with a 2k.

Number one, recognize that if a survivor goes down early that builds a lot of momentum for the killer whether he camps or not. Don't get downed early. If a teammate goes down early, tell yourself that the killer is currently "winning" the game and you will have to adjust what you're doing in response until you get the upper hand back.
Number two, don't ignore bones.
Number three, maybe don't cluster at the exit gate. NOED punishes over-altruism and inattention at the end of the game. That is all it does.
Number four, if the killer is camping, recognize that the worst thing that can happen is for him to finish his sacrifice and immediately catch and hook someone else. Sometimes you have to adjust your playstyle in the same way that a killer has to react to what survivors do. Go immersive, don't get caught out. Know where he is on the map, and be on the other side. Abandon gens early if you need to - if you're doing totems along the way and he's camping (meaning he's not triggering Pop often), your progress is going to outpace his gen slowdown.
And Otz regularly 4ks whatever he does. You can't prove that a strategy is OP by pointing to the best and saying that it works for them when they do it. Yeah man - everything he does makes it very hard on survivors. Otz is OP, not the perk/strategy.
NOED is successful, camping killer or not, when survivors play into it.

Otz regularly gets 4k because he puts 4ks on youtube. When he used NOED, proxy camping and tunneling, he was making 4k after 4k after 4k streaming, not edited for youtube 4ks. The survivors literally couldn't do anything against the strategy.

I certainly hope that survivors who complain about NOED don't themselves use DS or Adrenaline, because that would be hypocritical as hell.

I don't mind noed. But it's a perk that make bad player rank higher than they should. So we have bad killers using noed mori everygame complain once they get to red rank that it's not free pip anymore.
It's a temporary bandaid that allow bad players to avoid learning the game. Self care is in a similar position. They might survive longer because of this perk but they surely didn't contribute to the win.

Noed and Adrenaline aren't even close to analogies. Noed is a catch up perk. Adrenaline is a reward for finishing your objective.

I run small game and have saved my team countless times from Hex totems but then small game isn't a selfish perk.
I'm still confused why survivors can ignore all totems and then just clean the one NoED totem at the end.
I felt sorry for the killer yesterday as I cleaned a dull totem as the last generator popped... his NoEd lasted for 1 second.

Except you haven't finished your objective (escaping), you're just closer to the end game. Adrenaline is a boost if you are currently suffering and may not be able to complete it. A catch-up.
NOED is the same - haven't finished your objective (kill all survivors), but it's getting to the end game and the killer is currently suffering (not all survivors are dead).
Now, Adrenaline is based on good progress (completing gens) rather than bad (not everybody's dead) and so there's no real counter, which seems fair. But they are both definitely catch-up mechanics.

Yes, they have that difference (reward vs catch up), but all of those perks either grant or take a health state so in that regard they are two sides of the same coin.

I never said they shouldn't. I run Detective's Hunch specifically for that reason. But in the example provided by the OP it's not really viable now is it?

Something HAS been done about it. Like many have already mentioned, cleanse totems...just do this as you encounter them, don’t wait until the gens are done and you learn the killer has NOED to make this an issue. Think about that one second, you can completely disable one of the killer’s perks!
Imagine if there was a special tree in the map that allowed a killer to attack it for 20 seconds that disabled DS or Adrenaline, killers would be doing this all day long.
Just be grateful that the one(ONE!) 2nd chance perk a killer has, has the ability to be totally negated by the other team. There’s not an option for the kiler to do this with the survivor’s many 2nd chance perks.

And all of you saying "do bone, stop crying". You think solo survivors can make a best use of 120sec that able to do the rest of the Gen & 5 totems? Even if op can spot a camper in 10sec, you can not assure about the other 2. Each of them lost at least 10-20sec to spot a camper.
This play style probably get at least 2K in the cheapest way -> a balanced game.

Just because the killer hooked everyone at least twice before the egc doesn't mean they deserve a 4k, the same as just because you completed all gens doesn't mean you deserve to escape. You could be killed at any moment for a variety of reasons just as the killer could lose you and you get an escape. That's the game! If you hate the idea of the game why do you play it? NOED is fine, DS, BT, DH are fine.
Stop whining and just play the game.

People will say do bones, and it's good advice. But solo q teams for the mostpart, don't do all 5.
You'll actually be amazed post game when you see the killer brought noed, only for it not to proc. Like wow! that's a thing??
You're gonna have to decide how much you hate noed. Is it enough to bring detective's hunch or small game? Hope you have a flexible perk slot. Be prepared to cleanse 3 or 4 or 5.
There's also the strategy of leaving the easy to spot ones til the end. I just do my best to not be the first one hit, really. GL

"Did they stay alive" is a false argument. Even a rank 20 can "stay alive" if they loop every pallet once and drop it immediately all game. Even a Blendette can stay alive if they have the right perk loadout and Urban Evade on the edge of the map all game.

It's not invalid simply because you pointed out lazy survivors can be carried to the end game. There will always be people who put in the minimum effort. But that doesn't change they meet the conditions required for that perk to trigger.

It is invalid, because there are ENDLESS ways to stay alive and not have earned it. Therefore "they stayed alive" is NOT a valid argument. It's like a killer saying "I'm good cause I got a 4k with a mori".

If the killer actually prevented people from cleansing totems sure. But they pretty much never do. That's down to survivors choosing not to cleanse/being unable to find totems typically.

dude there 5 totems and 4 survivors if someone does 2 totems and the other does 1 there be no noed,survivor a team thing working together to get out.
this game being 4vs1 noed feels fair to me.
