How do i get the old joy?
Dbd has always been one of my favorite games. Always looked forward to playing it. However it recently stopped having that feel. Any ideas? (Open to all killer and survivor)

My recommendation - take a break, or significantly change up your playstyle to the point where it feels like a new game again

I had this a couple months ago, I just stopped caring lol.
Let me explain, I’ve been really pretending to be the killer.
Also as killer I try to get in chases and enjoy the mind game parts as much as possible. Winning chases is fun for me, if the survivors hammer out gens then so be it there’s always next game.

last weekend I took a break at the beach with some friends for 3 days, we oonly took our phones, no consoles or PCs.
I felt fully recovered after it.

After all this time I'm finally starting to adopt this mindset where I'm just trying to enjoy the chases I get into instead of the whole game. It just seems like such a better mentality.

im feeling a bit burnt out too, so im just waiting until the cakes are fixed to play again

Very enjoyable, I actually do the same as survivor I enjoy the chases and if my team doesn’t do gens so be it. I’ve even started giving myself end game to make sure others get out first
