Are Cakes STILL bugged?
Tried them out a few times, they dont seem to be stacking. I thought this was solved yesterday in the hotfix?

they said the hotfix will be out by the end of the week. :|

I have always heard from the devs that the hotfix will most likley be out friday as its the end of the work week.

Yep, they're still bugged. I'm saving all of them so they don't get wasted. For now it's best to farm them in your bloodwebs and use them later on.
However, most players are not aware of this, they just keep trying to stack multiple cakes in a single match, thus wasting them all. I even had a 4-man party insulting me, the Killer, because I didn't farm with them (killed them all, btw they didn't even show signs of wanting to farm, they rushed gens like there was no tomorrow), then I told them the cakes were bugged, but they didn't believe me and kept on throwing insults. Oh well.

They aren't wasted though since the person using it still gets bonus BP.

You can, but people wanted to be able to use the bonus BPs to get more cakes. If you are getting an extra 500% BPs per match, you can turn around and get abunch more cakes from your bloodwebs. If the fix doesnt occur til after the cakes have been removed from the bloodwebs...rip.

Im using them to get more. Its still 140% bp bonus. Ive got like 30 on ph and 10 on a bunch of other killers. Theres nothing wrong with using them now.

Not as much as even just one other person stacking them. Make it all 5 offerings and it's a boatload. The window in which people would spam them is mostly over. I'm sure some will once they are fixed, but I guarantee not as many. At this point I'll probably save what I've gotten for a blood hunt.
Between matches with a lot of hackers lately, not being crazy about the crowns, and the cakes which are the main draw of the event being bugged, this event was a let down. It shouldn't have taken this long to fix.

So, Friday at the earliest. Seems about right for a company that has literal open beta's weeks before releases and fixes nothing between betas and release.

The actual coding fix for the cakes was likely done very quickly. The delay is most likely caused by the fact that all 4 platforms need to have the update pass certification at the same time, so the fix can hit everyone simultaneously. Imagine the shitstorm that would occur if PC got their cakes fixed in a day (which is likely possible for Steam), but PS4 got their fix the following week because of Sony's certification process.
